Ashpaw sat in the medicine den, organizing herbs as he did every day. Lyon and Blaze were laying on two of the nests. "Your ceremony will be soon." He said thoughtfully. "And you two will receive your warrior names."

The two to cats looked at one another the glanced out of the den, Lyon was laying right next to his brother, like really close, it was as if he thought he would be separated from him forever.

"Uhh, so Foxstar will give us new names? And give us the right to take part in patrols and hunting parties?" Blaze asked, giving Lyon a sharp glance as the younger tom sat on top of him.

Ashpaw nodded. "I can show you two around, teach you the ins and outs of catching fish and such. But as the only medicine cat, I will be rather busy. I won't be with you all the time."

"But the others can help with that!" Lyon put in quickly, "They can shows us around the territory and teach us the Riverclan ways, they have to."

"Yes. I presume Jaysong will be your primary guide. He's young, but he knows his way around and he is a gifted fisher. He will be good for that role. Do either of you need poppy seeds or anything?"

Lyon glanced up at Ashpaw and became, "Mayb-"
"We don't want to be sleepy for the ceremony." Blaze said quickly, giving Lyon and little kick.

"True. Which, speaking of, will likely begin any moment. If you need any seeds, I should give them to you after the ceremony. Unless of course you're planning to go out and explore immediately."

“Let all cat old enough to catch they’re own prey gather beneath the willow for a clan meeting.” Foxstars called, her voice rang across the camp like an eagle’s cry.

"And there it is." Ashpaw stretched and limped out into the clearing, sitting down below the large willow tree. His leg still hadn't really healed, and he was hoping that it wasn't permanently damaged.

The two orange toms shot past Ashpaw and rushed over to where Foxstar stood. Her long calico fur swayed in the cool breeze that filtered through the camp and compared to the branch she was standing on, she was small. As the rest of the cats flooded out of their dens and took a place at the willow, Lyon seemed extremely anxious, like he thought he would be tramped by so many cats.

"Don't worry, Lyon." Ashpaw purred. "They won't crush you. I used to worry about that, but they still don't hit me even though I'm so small. They're trained for hunting, and seeing small things in water and plants such as reeds. Warriors all have very keen eyesight."

The orange tom nodded slightly then looked up as Foxstar continued.

“Lyon and Blaze, I wish you well in your future life with Riverclan, you both have done a great deed by bringing back are beloved medicine cat apprentice, the clan thanks you dearly.” Bowing her head to them, she began the ceremony, “I, Foxstar, leader of Riverclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these two loners. They have returned to us Ashpaw, the only medicine cat we have until Finchsong returned and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Lyon, Blaze, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your new Clan, even at the cost of your lives?”

Ashpaw nodded quietly as he listened, his tail flicking casually. He was certainly glad to be back, but constantly worried that the rogues would find them and attack the camp. He put it out of his mind for the time being, turning towards Lyon and Blaze to hear their answer.

“I do.” Said the two toms together.

(Ahhh, two way conversations played by one person is weird!!)

“Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior names: Blaze, from this moment you will be known as Blazestorm. StarClan honors your liberty and strategy, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Riverclan. Lyon, from this moment you will be called Liondawn. StarClan honors your sincerity and your spirit, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Riverclan.”

(It sounds like a gay marriage tbh two guys saying I do.

"Blazestorm! Liondawn!" Ashpaw cheered along with the rest of the clan happily. He was glad that Lyon and Blaze were able to return with him to Riverclan, and join as warriors as well.

(Sure?)
After the meeting was over, Ashpaw approached Foxstar. "Er, Foxstar? Can we speak for a moment? Preferably in private."

"Is this about the toms?" She asked, leading her to the leaders den.

(Sorry, I'll be off and on, right now I'm cooking and have to check it ever so often)

(Alright)
Ashpaw nodded. Once they were inside the den, he spoke. "Well, you see, the rogues didn't exactly just let us go… we escaped. And… and I'm worried that they might come looking for us and attack the camp…" Ashpaw turned his ears back, unable to make eye contact with Foxstar. If we get attacked, it's all my fault…

"I don't think a few rogues can defeat up Ashpaw." Foxstar said calmly, "It takes a lot more to defeat a whole clan."

"I don't know, Foxstar. There's a lot of them, and they're ruthless. The leader kills his own if they break one rule! It's barbaric!" The hairs along Ashpaw's spine bristled a bit with fear.

Foxstar stared down at him for a long minute, sighing, she glanced out of the den as Snowface padded in with Blazestorm right behind her.

"Foxstar," The tawny brown she-cat asked, "Ashpaw? Uh, Blazestorm was asking if there was a tom named Lynxfur in the clans? It dose sound like a clan cat name but I do not recognize it."

(Sorry, gtg)

Ashpaw froze for a moment. "I-I… Lynxfur… he's… Lynxfur's the cat who took me to the rogue camp! I don't know what clan he'd be in… I-I thought maybe he'd left his clan to become a rogue and kept his name."
