Brendon stood their awkwardly. This was interesting and at the same time kind of awkward. He said under his breath, "Awkward."

Blaine heard Jane's and Brendon's comments and shot them both a withering look from her where she sat. Once satisfied that they got her point, she turned back to face the front again.

Brendon subtly put his hands up in defeat as he sat in his seat. He turned to the front praying for no pop test.

Nessa swung her feet under the desk, She was to short for them to touch the floor. A bell rang and she hurried to get her bag and marched off to her next class, Pro's of Cal, AP credit, with friends. Cons of Cal…. Its AP Cal

Ms. Devil, as the kids called her, strutted into the room, a stack of papers at least three feet high balanced on one arm. Her heels clicked on the floor as she walked to her desk, glaring at the trembling students in front of her. “Pencils out, now,” she barked, sitting down in her swivel chair and releasing a poof of mothball smell.

Ender grimaced and pulled his pencil out. He fumbled and dropped it, sending it rolling across the room to rest in front of her desk. Uh oh…..

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

“Alexander!” Ms. Devil snapped. “I have no time for your insolence! Pick your pencil up right now, or that will be a trip to Mr. Williamson.” (The principal)

Ender scrambled to his feet and retrieved his pencil, blushing furiously.

Blaine watched the exchange between the teacher and Ender. Even if she didn't like the kid at times, didn't mean Ms. Devil had the right to treat him that way. She wanted to get back at her so badly, but she was honestly a little intimidated by her. I mean, who wouldn't be?
