@Mr.Misfit
(Yeesh, my condolences.)
Dylan got up, leaving his coffee on the table. He'd come back for it later.
"How about we do a little scouting? Together, this time. Just a quick look-see, then we're back."

(Lol. The kids listen pretty well, and they love me, so it's actually pretty fun!)
"Sure," Avery agreed, nodding. She picked up her mug, not wanting to leave it since she wasn't finished, and stood. "That sounds like a good idea."
Especially the together part.
NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS! Emotions, go back to your bottle. We've got a mission to deal with.
Yeah, but, I like him!
Ugh…
(I like how you play her as though she were bipolar.
She isn't bipolar, is she?)
(Lol. No, she isn't. We girls just… get confused by our own emotions sometimes.)
(Ah…)
Dylan smiled and turned to the stairs, "Just let me nab some things from my room, I'll be right down."
After tiptoeing his way up the stairs he crept into his room and took his phone and his stone pouch, which contained the stone that had given him his powers, as well as his onyx stone (He's been carrying it around for good luck).
He met back up with Avery downstairs, grinning from ear to ear. It would be nice to get into some good ol'fashioned fights for once. Of course, that wouldn't be the intent, but he knew the karma of heroes just as well as anyone else.
Things always go wrong.
"You ready to go?"
Avery had quickly changed and swept her hair up into a ponytail while Dylan was getting ready. She nodded at him when he came down.
"Yeah. Let's go."

Are you guys still interested in this? It's been a while. :P)
(I lowkey accidentally forgot about this and ended up getting lost lol)
(Lol. Been there!)
(Oh gosh, yeah, sorry lmao. I think Kaz and Vaughn were still asleep on the couch so I guess we could just wake them up or something lol)
(Lol. Do as you please! XD)
(Lol. Do as you please! XD)
(Within limits. ;)
(Lmao oh my god)
Vaughn shifted a tad where he was laying, feeling cramped. His memory felt a tad foggy as he blinked away blurriness from his eyes. Where was he? That mansion, right. He remembered that. He inhaled sharply with fear as he remembered his wound, a hand shooting our to press against his own stomach- but there was no wound. Not even any pain. It was completely healed, but how? Kaz. A body laying next to him on the couch, the one he was holding on to with his other hand.
(What? I'm just making sure that it everything stays at least PG-13. Lol. ;P)
(Yeah, I get that lol)
Kaz made a small noise at being moved a little, his brow furrowing as he tried to stay asleep. Unfortunately he could feel himself waking up, but he tried to stop himself by burying his face in the crook of Vaughn’s neck
Vaughn head the noise from Kaz, and bit softly at his lower lip. He glanced down at Kaz as he gently squeezed Kaz’s body. “Sorry, did I wake you up?” He asked in a gentle, quiet tone.
“S’ fine,” Kaz mumbled, wrapping his arms loosely around Vaughn as he nuzzled into the other’s neck. His joints ached, and he didn’t want to move too much just yet
“I feel a lot better today, whatever Cas gave for me to take worked like a charm,” Vaughn commented, his voice rough from sleep. He pressed a kiss to the top of Kaz’s head before moving his fingers to gently run through Kaz’s curls.
Kaz hummed in agreement, smiling a little as Vaughn ran his hand through his hair. "God magic. Gets the job done," he mumbled, pressing a kiss to the side of Vaughn's neck affectionately
Vaughn chuckled softly and nodded, sitting himself up slightly. “It felt great to get some more rest, though. I haven’t properly slept this week. With all of this going on, my anxiety has been through the roof,” he murmured, continuing to run his hand through Kaz’s curls.
“Yeah, I understand. Ran out of my meds last week and I can’t afford any more till next week,” Kaz mumbled, shifting a little to try and get more comfortable
“Really? I could have sent you money, you know,” Vaughn stated with a frown. He knew that Kaz found it difficult to ask him for help. He didn’t have much money either, but it wasn’t like he neeed it. He was stocked on his medication for a few more weeks, and his foster sister could anyways pick up more.
“I know, but I didn’t want to bother you,” Kaz said sheepishly. He hated to ask for anything, especially from Vaughn. He just couldn’t help the feeling that he might be using him, as irrational as the thought was
“I would have loved to hear from you these past couple days. It would have put me in such a better mood. I think I’ve been terrible the past couple days,” Vaughn admitted with a soft sigh. He hugged at Kaz’s waist, holding him tight.
“Yeah, I guess I should have called. I thought you were just out on a really long job or something before,” Kaz said with a small shrug
“You know I like to finish them up quick. If I stuck around too long and toyed with those men, the cops would catch on,” Vaughn pointed out, pressing a kiss to the bridge of Kaz’s nose.
“Yeah, yeah,” Kaz responded, smiling at the kiss. “Now that I think about it, how did you end up with these people?” he asked curiously
“I was hiding from the police in a library. I showed up at a house where I was supposed to help a woman who said her husband drowned her daughter, but it was just a set up. When I got there, there were a lot of damn cops. Got me in the calf pretty good. But I saw a girl open up a passageway behind one of the shelves, so o got curious. Turned out it was some big secret that no one was supposed to know about. It was pretty insane,” Vaughn explained with a soft huff. “And all because I was going to help someone.”
"Well," Kaz began, pausing for a moment as he chuckled. "That was wild from start to finish. And hell, when were you high up enough on the most wanted list that the cops tried to set you up?" he said, his tone both joking and concerned
