Argo shrugged. "Just wondering, I suppose." Truth be told he was secretly worried Yeon was trying to think of anything but his current situation, but he told himself to shut up and stop worrying
Argo shrugged. "Just wondering, I suppose." Truth be told he was secretly worried Yeon was trying to think of anything but his current situation, but he told himself to shut up and stop worrying
Yeon continued his humming, smiling in an amused way as he looked around. His fingers tapped on his thigh, something he did when he was either excited or restless.
The elevator slowed to a stop. They seemed to be at least a hundred floors up, and Argo stepped out into an enormous, well-lit expanse of greenery. Some of the plants seemed to stretch hundreds of feet, and Argo turned to look at Yeon. "Welcome to the balcony gardens," he said, grinning widely as he did a little bow
Yeon arched a brow when Argo bowed and slowly shook his head, chuckling. He stepped a bit closer towards the plants, continuing to hum as he looked around. “Hell, this place is great!”
Argo's grin widened, and he began to walk along a dirt path. "Come on, I want to show you my favorite part!" he said excitedly, near skipping in place
James shrugs, "Like I said, it's up to you. If you want to come in tomorrow, I'll give you the tour in the morning. If you're not interested, you don't have to show up." James grabs a piece of paper and scribbles down in surprisingly neat letters, his phone number, "If you have questions, this is my number."
Sean had half a mind that the first opportunity he had he would chuck the paper but instead he pocketed it and nods, "Right…" He waves to James as he leaves.
James nods and watches as a crying Alfred and a angry Oliver return to the cafe. James raises a brow, sighing softly. "Alright. Anyways, back to work, both of you." Oliver scolds. James nods, walking into the kitchen, he'd tell Oliver in the morning.
Sean huffs, holding his arms. There was a cold breeze from down the street. He sits on a bench, looking around
(He cant aford a home on what he was getting in his old job so he doesnt even have the smallest appartment just fyi)
(KK) James was silent, it was getting late. "Hey, Ollie. Shouldn't we start heading home?" Oliver looks at the clock, "Yes, alright." He sighs softly, "Let's go then."
Argo's grin widened, and he began to walk along a dirt path. "Come on, I want to show you my favorite part!" he said excitedly, near skipping in place
Yeon laughed a bit at Argo’s sudden excitement. He walked a bit quickly to keep up with the taller man.
They walked through a tangle of ash-colored trees that curved in a tunnel over the walkway. There was a fork in the path, and Argo took the right one. They walked for a little longer, the path growing darker and darker. There was a sudden break in the narrow space and they walked into an enormous area enclosed by a huge tunnel of trees that blocked out the sunlight. The area was full of trees made of metal, with brightly glowing flowers that grew from metal and dark green vines. Argo stopped, turning to Yeon. "Isn't it wonderful?" he asked softly, near beaming at him
Sean flops limply on his side across the bench
Yeon’s mouth practically fell open in amazement. “Jesus Christ… How the hell does this fit inside a hotel?!” He exclaimed. I take it back, I don’t want to do Argo in the elevator. This is better.
Argo’s grin seemed to widen impossibly at Yeon’s reaction. “It’s one of the oldest parts of the garden. It’s full of plants that attract spirits of fortune and good luck. They even show themselves if you’re really lucky.”
“Spirits?” Yeon questioned. He was unsure why he was even still doubting. He was talking to a goddamn nonhuman already.
Argo nodded, adjusting his bowtie nervously again. "They're spread randomly throughout the world, but they seem to love these flowers. The flowers themselves are wonderful good luck charms." As he talked he walked over to a low hanging vine and plucked what appeared to be an elaborate, electric blue rose. He picked it from the vine, walking over to Yeon. Smiling to himself, he set it in the front pocket of his bomber
Yeon gave a hum, looking down at the blue rose. “Are these natural? I don’t think blue roses are natural..” he murmured with interest.
"They're perfectly natural, although rare. The process these specific ones go through is rather fascinating in all honesty," Argo replied, fiddling with the rose until it was perfectly straight. "Blue is a nice color on you," he added absently, smiling down at Yeon softly
James waits for his brothers to exit the shop. He hums, locking it before starting off home as well. He prefered to walk home, unlike his brothers. He hums as he walks, the cold air comforting him, reminding him of home.
“Blue? I’ve been told I look best in black,” Yeon said with a chuckle, motioning to his almost all black outfit. Argo was partly right, he did like that shade of blue.
Sean shifts a few times then sits up, curling his knees to his chest
"Blue and black go well together," Argo hummed. He looked at Yeon for a long moment, trying to decide what to say. "Would you like to see more of the gardens, or would you like to see somewhere else?"
He wasn't sure if he wanted to walk home, or hit the coffee shops. He sighs softly before entering the warm coffee shop.
“Mm, that’s true,” Yeon said. The way that Argo looked at him made him shift a little bit out of being uncomfortable in the slightest bit, but he’d never admit it. “We can go to somewhere else,” he suggested.
Argo nodded, trying to run through places to go in his head. The only places he could think of were the outskirts of Molhaven and the casino, the former being almost out of the question and the latter probably a bad idea. "Anywhere in particular you'd like to see?" he asked, beginning to walk along the trail again
Yeon walked at a decent pace to keep up with Argo. “You mentioned something about a casino earlier? Hell, I’d be down there all the time. I’m a decent gambler.”
Argo smiled, breathing a mental sigh of relief. "Yes, the casino is a quick walk from here. It's run specifically by my boss, but if we're lucky he'll still be out on vacation. He's not the most pleasant to listen to most of the time," he chuckled, glancing up at the elevator up ahead
Yeon gave a brief look of confusion. “I’m sure he’s not terrible,” he said, hand tucking back into his pocket.
Argo rolled his eyes, pressing the button for the elevator and stepping inside. "You have no idea," he grumbled. He broke into a small grin, and his radio shifted from his normally deep voice to that of something high-pitched and nasally. "Argo do this, Argo do that. Work a 22 hour shift, go greet my clients, go book my next date with my weird boyfriend," he said
