Tyson was still curled up in a ball on the floor. Gerard was next to him, inspecting his hair. "I agree. Go kill him."

“You think Amelia or Harvey would mind?”

"They both hate him with equanimity." Gerard said. "Is he still alive?"

"Tyson. He hasn't squeaked or moved in awhile…"

“Oh whAT.” Lucille said in panic, she went over to him and checked his pulse.

Dexter crouched down beside her. "Is it there? Oh gosh…"

“It’s faint… but it’s there.”

Dexter sighed in relief. "Oh good. Good…." He thought for a moment. "Is it irregular though…"
