I usually write in first person, since it just feels more natural. Don't really know why.

to each their own I guess. I mean sure, I've read a lot of first person stuff that's really good, but whenever I try to write it I feel like I'm limited to one point of view? like you're sort of confined to the one character you're writing the perspective of

"Rory, you asshole. The couch goes on the left side of the fire pit," I explain quietly, barely disguising a snicker. "The loveseat goes on the right."

Also, put me down as a maybe.

I will be a judge! And let's cap it at 5,000 words so I don't have too much to read. :P That's like the length of one long chapter.

ok, and I haven't decided on a due date yet. I'm gonna try and get at least 5 participants before I set one but if we don't get 5 soon I'll probably give everyone like…a week or two to write

Haha, I won't hold it against you if you go like 100 words over, but keep in mind that the longer you make your entry (usually) the better advantage you have (at least I feel like that, since there's more time to explain and describe), which isn't super fair to others. :P

yeah I'm just really unnecessarily descriptive when I write so I'm gonna struggle to keep it under the word limit lol
