Wade turned to the door receiving the banging, he looked at the other people on the inside to see what they think.

(It's pronounced sparrow btw it's Latin for Hope. Just thought I'd put that out there.)

Spero had also been sleeping in the house, although Wade did not know this. Hearing the commotion she carefully came out of the room. She unsheathed the dagger her mother gave her and stepped out, hoping the element of surprise would give her an advantage over whatever was in there. "WHO GOES THERE?" She shouted and as she did she caught sight of the group that was gathered there.

Raising her eyebrows, Alex turned toward the door. "Hell no," she said. Just then, somebody came into the room, yelling. Alex jumped back, drawing her sword again. "What the hell? I thought I checked all of the rooms!"

(Okay ya'll imma be off for the next 45 minutes so hang tight)

"Hello, who are you?" Wade found that today he was in a social mood, which was good because he had already met a few more people than average, by his standards.

"Let ME IN!" Levi yelled, watching in horror as the pink unicorn vomited rainbows, "This is not sanitary!"

"I'm Spero. Are you all real? And for your information," Spero indicated Alex. "I am, at least I think I am, a good hider." She walked over to them, dagger held up cautiously.

Wade shows his neck, "You think we should let them in," He nods to the door.

"Probably. He sounds distressed. I'd say let him in but be ready to attack." After showing her own barcode, she raised her weapon and eased her way towards the door.

Alex stepped forward. "I don't think so. It's not safe. He could morph into something really dangerous," Alex said. "Number one rule of reality: don't let anybody in if you can help it."

"LET ME IN BEFORE IT VOMITS ON ME!!" Levi sobbed, becoming really freaked out when the vomit began generating butterfly's.

"Keep him outside until he proves he's real," Wade suggests.

"A f*cking unicorn vomiting on you should be the least of your worries!" Alex snapped, digging the point of her sword into the wooden floor.

"Its revolting!" He sobbed, now having tears streaming down his face, "And butterflies are popping out of it." He then whispered.

"Have you ever experienced an actual nightmare before?" Alex responded.

"Like the once with the zombies?" He responded, trying to kick the unicorn away, "While your stuck at the grandparents house? that has to be near a creepy swamp?"

"Oh my god, you're a rookie," Alex mumbled. She suddenly felt a twinge of guilt, and moved to unlock the door. "Alright, come on in. It's not safe out there."

"Oh goodness thank you!" He said quickly, darting through the door before the unicorn bit his shoe.

Spero looked at him with a cautious and intimidating look. "Your barcode please."

"What?" He muttered, turning to her with a confused look, "Oh, oh that thing." He nodded and showed the barcode to her, he had clearly forgotten he had one.

Ellis wandered over to the fireplace. The logs crackled and popped. Suddenly they went out. "What the…."

"Oh god, please don't let this be a nightmare," Alex said.
(another idea: what if we can see the people who are having the nightmare, but we can't interact with/touch those people, and they can't see us?)
