"In the trunk, in my room."

The ever-lying expanse of space was just outside of that metal wall. It was beautiful, but dangerous at the same time. Mariko huddled up and hugged her knees, wrapping her blanket tighter around herself and nesting in the wires. It's not as small of a world as you would think, Jiji.

"Okay, see y'all." She said, unbuckling and waking into his room. The place was impeccably tidy. "Egads." She muttered, walking over to the trunk. She peeled off her grimy fingerless gloves and opened the trunk. She rummaged through and found a pair of overalls and a tank top. She smiled when she found a pair of boots that were actually her size. She closed the lid and walked into the shower room.

(the one time i get called for dinner -__- I honestly dont know what Gaia should be doing rn.)

Gaia sat back on her chair. "So, how's life been?" She asked, glancing at Ellis.

"Fair enough at the moment." He glanced at her. "Got new crew members so that's pretty exciting."

"I'd think so." She smiled, then made a growling noise. "This is just like Starwars! You're Han and I'm Chewy!" She made a wookie noise.

Ellis chuckled. "Yeah! Gah I used to obsess over old movies like that…"

"They're great though!" She pondered for a moment. "Ellen is Leia, Conner is Luke, Seth is Lando and Mariko is… R2-D2!"

"Yeah!" He sighed. "I haven't watched those since…"

"Yeah, it's been a long time!" Gaia smiled. (srry, i was working on something for a writing comp.)

"Woah, woah woah. Slow down. Since what, boss?" Seth jumped in.

Ellen stepped out of the shower room, combing her wet hair with a comb she had had in her coverall. She smiled to herself. She hadn't been clean and had new clothes since forever.

Ellis took a deep breath and swiveled his chair around. "Okay, so when I was about 15 years old, me and my friend sneaked aboard a ship and went on a crazy adventure. Long story short, I had to go out on my own after a certain event because I needed to recover from it. So I don't really do anything that reminds me of those times."

Ellen walked in. "Where do I wash my other clothes?"

Seth nodded. "Alright. Makes sense." Seth stood up and clapped Ellis on the back. "I'm gonna go work on my newest design." she headed to her lab.

Ellis watched her go, then turned to Ellen. "Hey there, have you seen someone named Ellen? She's small, and dirty, and really greasy."

"Hardy har har. You are a laugh riot chuckle-cluck." She said, sticking her tongue out.

Ellis rolled his eyes. "You know what? I don't think those clothes will make it through the wash. They're pretty worn."

"Fine, buy me a new coverall if you want, but I'm keeping the jacket." She stated.

"Have it your way."

"That I will. Where can I wash my jacket?" Ellen asked.

"In the sink in the kitchen."

Gaia watched this all go down silently, keeping an eye on the dashboard.

"I'm assuming you've got soap?" She asked, starting to walk out before turning around. "Where's the kitchen?"

"Ask Conner." He replied.
