Blaine woke up to a screeching alarm going off in her ear. She slapped the button, silencing her clock, and sat up, rubbing her eyes.
Why do I even use that thing? I hate it! I have much better alarms on my phone! she thought, glaring at the offending device. Ugh… I suppose I should check on Venus and see if she's any better.
She picked her phone up off of her nightstand and sent a quick message to the group chat.
