Deon turns tail silently and starts walking out of the pack's territory. He glances behind him at the pup who was chatting away.

"Where are you going?" Max cocked his head to the side again, watching Deon walk away.

"Hm?" Deon stops, looking over his shoulder at the kid then around at the pack, "I dont belong here… I just came to get help for you…"

"Why don't you just stay here? It's probably better than just living out there, allll alone… all hungry when it gets cold…"

Leon walked around trying to find people to talk to, and saw two people talking to each other, he went over to them while smiling and waving, "Hey."

Max looked up at the new arrival. How many dog peop-, er, werewolves, are here? There's a lot… "Hi! What's your name?"

Suddenly, a wolfs howling was heard. All the others Howled back, responding to the call of the Alpha. Oh No the Lunar Ceremony is starting sparrow's hands started sweating but she knew that an Alpha does what's best for his pack and right now, that was passing his title on to his heir.

"What's going on?" Am I supposed to howl too?

All the wolves went to the Ceremonial grounds and the pack borders were sealed. No one could leave or enter the pack until the Ceremony was over. Sparrow fixed her hair and wiped the dirt off her face. She then walked up to Koray who was bringing Max with her. bending to his level, she ruffled his hair "Ok Max, in order for you to be in our, er, family, you need to be accepted. once the title is passed down to me, you come up and join me on stage and then you can get accepted."

What? I have to go up there? Max hesitated for a second, but nodded anyways.

"Don't worry," seeing the look in his eyes, "It isn't that scary. But you need to tell me, what did you wolf say its name was?"

"What do you mean? My name's Max." What did my wolf say its name is? I just have a dog… his name is Cosmo? Is that what she means?

"You know how you talked inside your head? Just think to it and ask it his name." she laughed.

Luna heard the ceremony begin. She entered the ceremonial grounds quietly and hung towards the back.
