"What?" Mariko crossed her arms. "I may not sleep in my room, but that doesn't give you the right to give it away." she usually slept in the control room, so she could keep an eye on the ship's wires. Besides, the small space was cozy.

Gaia was puzzled over why Ellen said wizard. Her rich, high-class brain buzzed on what she meant.

"she can sleep in mine! i don't mind."

"Nonono if anyone is giving up their bed, it's gonna be me." He pointed. "You guys are the crew, I'm just the captain."

"sir, if i may, you need more sleep then any of us."

"Yes, do that. Give up your own bed, you selfless man. I have to go check on the motherboard. Seeya." the excuse was the best she could come up with. She'd already checked the motherboard 20 times today alone.

"Especially with me around." Ellen said, smirking.

Ellis scoffed. "Of course I need more sleep, doesn't mean I'm gonna get it." He gestured. "I'm serious, Ellen can have mine and I'll just sleep in the cockpit."

"Naw, I don't need a whole room to myself. 'Sides, don't ships usually have crew cabins with bunks or something?"

"I don't care where i sleep, honestly," Gaia stated. She hoped she got a closet or something, just to break the rich person compliant stereotype.

"Yeah but we only have…" He counted on his fingers. "Two bunks. We have two."

conner heads to his room "i just need some sleep."

Ellen threw her hands up in the air. "Fine! I'll take your room if it makes ya happy Ellis."

Maybe you could just already be part of the crew? Or just mosey in and ask for a ride…)

"I'll sleep on anything." Gaia threw out there. "I've slept in the forest before, in the rain. Fun times."

"I've slept in a vent, a storage compartment, and against a wall before." Ellen boasted.

Ellis held up his hand. "I won't have any of that. You're sleeping in the crew quarters with Conner. Mariko usually sleeps in her nest anyway. Ellen will sleep in my room and I'll make do in the cockpit."

(alright we'll say I'm already apart of the crew)
Seth heard voices, and went to see what was going on. "Oh, who do we have here, Ellis?" she asked.

"Yes. My nest." Mariko nodded.

"Hoots man, how many crew members you got?" Ellen asked, startled at the sudden appearance of another crew member.

Ellis wheeled around. "Seth, my guy, this is Gaia, Ellen, and Conner."

"Another person! Hello! I'm Gaia and i'm going to be the co-pilot."

Seth saluted. "Gaia, Ellen, and Connor. Disclaimer, I will forget your names and probably refer to you with some other thing, but eventually I'll get it right." she said.

"Well Connor said his nickname was Papyrus, so you could call him that." Ellen said, pointing her thumb in his general direction.

Ellis slapped his forehead. "Oh Seth! Are you still sleeping in the escape pod or not?"

(can she have like a little lab thing? not necessarily a lab, but a place she works on her designs and stuff?)
Seth nodded. "Yeah, I am. Are we debating sleeping quarters? I'll sleep in my lab if you want me to."

(Sure)
"Wherever you're comfortable." He rubbed his hands together. "I think we're all ready for takeoff right?"

Gaia looked around. "I think so…"

Ellen threw a rude gesture in the direction of the ramp entrance. "Good bye Praxidis station!" She hollered.

Ellis cracked his knuckles. "Hello cold vacuum of space!" He rushed to the cockpit.
