Ellis climbed up the ramp of the ship. "As you can see, this is the glorious vessel of mine, the Champion."

Conner cautiously approaches Ellis "excuse me sir, do you know of any job openings for cooks?"

He turned. "You looking for one?"

Ellen scrutinized the ship, wrapping a curl of greasy hair around her finger. "Looks cozy."

Mariko heard voices and jolted, hitting her head on the extremely low ceiling of the control room. She rubbed her head and slipped her goggles back on, slipping the wires back into their box and curling up onto the pillow she'd placed inside. It was her escape room just as much as it was a control room.

conner nodes "yes i am."

"Well then I have an opening if you're interested."

Gaia climbed behind Ellis, excited about her new job. Another man approached Ellis and asked for a job, but she didn't pay attention to him. This was her chance to make her own living, to break the stereotype she's lived under her whole life. She could be free from her sister and her worries.

"thank you sir, oh pardon me i forgot to introduce myself." conner bows "my name is Conner but may people call me Papyrus."

"That's a weird nickname." Ellen stated.

Ellis chuckled. "Captain Ellis at your service."

She slid her goggles on top of her head and chewed at her pencil, scribbling furiously into her checkup planner.
All good, checked up, wires are A ok.
Mariko stepped out of the small room, boots pounding at the floor as the voices came closer.

She snapped out of her thoughts and addressed her new co-worker. "Hello Conner, I'm Gaia, I'll be the co-pilot on this ship." She held out her hand for him.

"hello Gaia! it will be an honor working with you." he shook her hand

"You too." She gleamed.

conner began to board the ship "i'll be heading to my post if you need me."

"Okie dokie!" Ellis held out his hand to Gaia. "Need a hand?"

Mariko followed the voices, putting the glasses back over her head and stuffing her hands into her pocket. "Who's this, Captain?"

Gaia took his hand and boosted up onto the ship. "Thank you, Captain."

Ellen glanced around trying to figure out who the newcomer was talking about. "Who, me?"

Ellis gestured to the others. "We have new crew members! This is Gaia, Ellen, and Conner."

"Oh. Okay." Mariko stood up straight and saluted. "Welcome to Captain's ship. My name is Mariko. I am happy to assist your mechanical needs."

She waved at the other woman, who Ellis had called Mariko while they chatted in the cafe. "Hello, I'll be the co-pilot. I'll be happy to assist with emotional needs as well."

After a bit of a pause, Ellen cleared her throat. "So am I sleeping a closet? Cus I can fit in a closet."

"No no, you'll sleep on a cot on the floor." He jabbed his thumb at a door. "In Mariko's room."

Ellen's eyes widened. "Oh, an actual bed?! Wizard."
