I mean, I appreciate the thoughtfulness but honestly it's not true. I'm not amazing and talented. If I was, I wouldn't be wanting to throw myself off of the top of the nearest building every second of my life. I'd be able to handle things better.

I think what works for me is not treating it like it's part of me but rather a tag along.
Like, I named my anxiety the Pink Panther (don't ask why) and it really helps. Whenever it starts acting up I just think "There goes the dirtbag again, trying to make me feel like crap" and I feel a little better.
May sound weird but it works
