From the amount of despair in his eyes you can tell that he has learned this firsthand.
"Ok can I say something actually?" She tried to ask in her most calmest voice.
"Go ahead isn't that what this whole thing about?" Maddie said continuing her calming tone.
"Ok then. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm not, but I can't even believe we are even doing this. Altheia, one of the qualities that I don't like about you is how naive you are. The fact we are playing this messed up game is awful. I know you all think it's for a good cause, but it's not. Things like this are going to tear us apart and bring us down. They make us turn against each other and ruin friendship and relationships. People can use this against us. Also that fact you spoke inside my head, well just don't." She snapped. Alex tried to calm herself down. "This is one of the reasons people die." Her voice cracked.
Altheia looked confused, "but I thought relationships were built on trust and honesty? if we aren't honest, then how are we going to trust each other?" She paused and looked up. "What are you talking about? I didn't speak in your head, the magic that is in you allows me to feel your auras, that's how I knew what you felt."
"Well I felt it Ok? And Honesty also brings out the worst in people. People have their own opinions and they won't agree and bad things can happen. It also makes relationships crumble. I have seen what I can do firsthand." She explained.

For the first time in her life Maddie didn't have a response. She spent a moment grasping at words. "if you'll excuse me?" She stood up and left the room. Why? Why did he say that? She disappeared up the stairs before running in to her room and turning the lock.
Oliver looked towards Thanatos, but after a few moments he pushed himself up and walked up the stairs. He paused at Maddie's door, his hand raised to knock on the door. Come on. Just knock. . . tell her how you feel. After a couple more seconds, Oliver knocked on the door frame and waited for an answer.
"Yes," She responded her back leaning against the door as rested her head on her knees.
Alex gave a little glance at Thanatos and quickly looked back. forget it, he doesn't even like me. She thought to herself sadly. She didn't believe she had someone, just herself.
"It's, uh, Oliver." He began, leaning one shoulder against the doorframe as he thought. "Well, see. . ." He paused, laughing awkwardly and reaching to rub the back of his neck nervously. "I-like-you-a-lot-and-I-didn't-think-you-liked-me-too-until-I-heard-that-so-I-was-wondering-if-it's-true," Oliver said quickly, almost all the words blending together into a new one.

Did any of you see a leather tan jacket, with silver buttons? If not, I have no more reason to be in this RP," The fourth wall cracked once more, and Sam winced as they became covered with metaphorical scratches from the also-metaphorical glass.
