“Why does it smell like-oh holy sh-“ London said, grabbing Marcus and teleporting then outside.

“Hey, what was that f-“ he started to grumble before seeing the fire. My sword. “Wait, I have to get back in!” He barely got the words out before starting to run in.

A series of explosions go off in the distance and a massive column of smoke rises above the city streets.

He ran in, coughing from the smoke and frantically felt around for his sword, grabbing it by the blade before running out again, soot all over his face. He was coughing and his hands were bleeding, but otherwise fine.

“Oh hey you’re alive, good. Now we’re going to get you wrapped up.”

“Yeah. Yeah, sure,” he muttered.

“Your house or mine? Or was that small hut thing your new house?”

“That small hut thing was my house, yes,” he grunted. Dropping the sword into its sheath.

“I haven’t really got anywhere else,” he shrugged.

Michi watched as explosions go off in the city, the smoke billowing into beautiful clouds that hung ever so delicately in the sky. He looked up at the way it gracefully hovered over the streets, a truly magnificent and breathtaking experience. If not for the screams.
