“Guess not,” Victoria whispered, running a finger over the dusty wall.

Lars frowned. "I'm sure they said it was this one…"

“Duck!” Victoria yelled, jumping on top of Lars and pulling him to the ground. An electrical spear soared a few inches above Victoria ‘s hair and embedded itself into the wall, crackling fiercely.

Lars stared at the spear. "HOLY SMOKES WHAT WAS THAT?!"

“Electric spear! Quite advanced actually, very aerodynamic, carries a huge electrical charge, and can split through human flesh in milliseconds!” Victoria said, awed. Then it dawned on her what she’d just said. “Oh. Crap.”

"Thanks for that mental portrait let's get out of here." He said as another spear whizzed overhead.

“Yeap,” Victoria said nervously, beginning to crawl across the floor and using her body to sheild Lars’s.

Lars scrambled to the door and pushed it open. A pulsar was pointed at his face. "Good morning Captain Lars." Lars clenched his jaw. "Crap."

“Okay do this is bad,” Victoria ventured. “Do you know this guy?”

Lars stared at the gun. "Uh…maybe…."

“Now or never!” Victoria said, backing away from another gun pointed at her face with her hands raised. “Preferably now!”

Lars sighed and put his hands up. "Hey…Oliver…"
Oliver smirked. "Nice reunion, eh?"

“Dude, there is a gun pointed at my face,” Victoria complained. “Not nice.”

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "Who's this? Picking up strays again?"
Lars rolled his eyes. "She's not a stray and her name's Victoria."

“I hate that name! It’s Rebecca, in real life. You can call me Becky. I would offer a hand, but like I said, there is a gun pointed at my face,” Victoria rushed.

Lars looked at her. "Your name is Rebecca……you lied to me?"

“Mmmhhmmmmmmmmmm,” Victoria said, nodding furiously. “Yep. Totally.” She tried to tell Lars that she was lying with her eyes.

Lars stared at her. Then was hit with a flash of realization. He gave her a small smile then tackled her. "YOU LIAR!!!!"
Oliver rolled his eyes. "Separate them."

“Get off of me!” Victoria yelled, relieved but not letting it show. “I don’t trust anyone, okay?!?! All I wanted was a job!”

Lars grunted as a guard pulled him off of Victoria.
Oliver sighed. "Honestly you embarrass me sometimes. On your feet let's move!"

“No!” Victoria struggled against the guards, but it was no use. She was quickly overpowered.

Victoria was blindfolded and led away from what sounded like Lars. She didn’t panic. These morons do not know how to tie a proper knot, she thought to herself.

Lars was shoved onto a bench. Oliver across from him. They sat in awkward silence. "So…" Lars cleared his throat. "That whole thing….was bait?"

Victoria was shoved into some sort of hole. She heard a door shut. Yay! she thought sarcastically. She slipped her wrists out of her bonds with ease (Thank the Gods I practiced!) and pulled off her blindfold.
