(Yeah! I'm here - hi!)
(Yeah! I'm here - hi!)
(HI.)
(time travel sequence commencing in 3… 2…)
(TARDIS sounds)
(Okie…)
Paige stared at her phone. Are they right? she wondered. The thought had crossed her mind several times along with They're right, I should die. "I need help," she said in a voice that didn't sound like her own. "I don't know what to do. I think that they are right." She finally broke her stoic complexion and began to cry.
Lillian leaned across the table and wrapped her arms around Paige, "They're not right. No one should just up and die. No matter what others think, we all have the right to live."
(Lloyd: pulls out bow Point them out, I'll kill them
Lillian: LLOYD I JUST TALKED ABOUT EVERYONE HAVING THE RIGHT TO LIVE
Lloyd: Except jerks
Lillian: SJHEJOSJIRENFSKIWOOEK)
(No this is Lillian: KILL THE FRICKERS! THEY DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE! THEY HURT MA FRIEND!)
(Luena in the distance, dragging three very disfigured bodies to a shallow grave)
(Darren still confused and not making eye contact with anyone)
"I don't understand why they would do this," Paige sighed shakily.
“Because they’re jerks. And they’re wrong”
"No, they're not jerks," Paige shook her head. "They… they just… They're really nice, I promise!"
Lillian looked her in the eye, "Some people don't like it when others move on to a better place and leave them behind. They're just jealous of you."
"It's us they don't like. They're just taking it out on you. They're jealous that our friend group is stronger than theirs." Lloyd smiled softly.
"But we've all been friends since grade school," Paige dragged her hand across her eyes to catch the pooling tears.
"And if they couldn't support you and still remain friends with you just because you joined theater, they're not your real friends. True friends are always loyal to each other, they stick together through thick and thin, and they support each other's decisions. A true friend would never tell you to die."
“Have you tried talking to them?”
Lillian nodded. She knew talking worked for some people, but it didn't for her toxic relationship.
“Have you tried punching some sense into them?” Darren was a jock. It was how his brain worked.
(Basically
Lloyd: Well your friends just suck. Sorry. We're just better. It's a fact)
Lillian glared over at Darren, "No."
Darren threw his hands up defensively “just a thought!”
"Normal people don't punch sense into other people," Lillian said. Though she was beginning to see a pattern. Maybe her mom used to be a jock….
(Ooof)
"Violence rarely works, surprisingly enough." Lloyd said with a slight hint of sarcasm. "And I've seen plenty of it. No matter who wins the war, there is long lasting bitterness and the conflict is often not fully resolved. It is simply at an armistice until the losing side can find a way to hit back, and hard."
Darren nodded. “Just a thought” he repeated under his breath
“What can we do?” Darren said changing the subject.
Lillian added on, "And we will help in anyway possible."
(Did she leave?)
