(OH THAT'S GOOOOODDDDD!)
Ferran glanced at Sophia. "Are you okay?"
(OH THAT'S GOOOOODDDDD!)
Ferran glanced at Sophia. "Are you okay?"
"Me? Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" Sofia asked, looking up at him and smiling slightly.
"You just acted like you were bored." He shrugged. "Which you probably are."
(Okay, cool. I can't keep up with actual fortune telling lol.)
"Well that much is true," she replied, shrugging slightly.
Otto nodded. "How about you Seth?"
"Me, bored?" Seth chuckled, "Nah. I've got a lot going on up here, as usual. Always thinking about ways to trick idiots out of their money."
Sofia rolled her eyes and stood up.
Otto raised an eyebrow. "You're despicable. We're only supposed to entertain."
Seth, still thinking out loud, said, "Hey, how much money do you think I could get if I told someone they were cursed, but I knew a ritual to break it?"
"He's got a point," she said quietly.
Otto raised an eyebrow. "You're despicable. We're only supposed to entertain."
"Hey, now. People are entertained by fortune-telling. Even people who don't believe in the stuff might get their palm read because they think it's entertaining," Seth muttered.
Otto rolled his eyes. "You'd get a sound chastising from the chief and a got slap from me."
"But I'd still get paid," Seth whispered.
"There's no point in arguing with him," Sofia said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms.
"That's right, Sofia," Seth replied, tucking his cards into his jacket pocket.
"I know. Worth a try though." He shrugged. "As for me, I'll just stick with my gig."
"There aren't many times when I'm wrong," she said, laughing slightly.
"Except for that one time when you misjudged the distance between the bars and the platform and that's why you won't go on the trapeze ever again just thought I'd mention that."
"I told you never to bring that up," Sofia said, scowling at him.
"That's not being wrong. That's just being bad at trapeze," Seth added, "Her intuition is impeccable otherwise."
He smirked. "Remember when Seth put the wrong powder in the fireworks and all we got was him covered in powdered sugar when they set off?"
"Exactly…wait, I'm not bad at trapeze..I just dislike it," Sofia stated, frowning.
"Yeah, yeah. We all know that I'm not good at anything besides tricking people. If I didn't resort to being a scoundrel, I would literally starve," Seth answered.
Otto shrugged. "Well I'm gonna go set up the signs in town anyone wanna come with?"
Seth jumped up from where he sat. "Sure. Let's go."
"I will, I need something to entertain me," she said, shrugging.
He smiled "Okay then! You all can help me carry things!" He grabbed Polaris's arm. "You're coming too."
Seth grabbed several stakes from a pile by the wall, and carried them all in a bundle in his arms.
Sofia stretched both her arms behind her head until she heard a satisfying pop, then walked over to help.
