@ShadeStar

Brendon looked curiously as he followed her out into the rain. The rain was cool against his burning skin.

"Come on," Blaine mumbled, walking the opposite direction of Venus and Ender. She walked over to a table underneath an umbrella and sat down after wiping the water from the seat.

"Don't be sorry. You've got nothing to be sorry for," Blaine said, shaking her head and waving the apology off. She took a deep breath and looked out over the street again. Her voice stayed soft as she started explaining. "To be honest, I don't really even know what my deal is. I just… I have this feeling, whenever it rains, that it will hurt me. I know it's weird, and I can't explain it, but it just feels so real." She shook her head and turned back to face Brendon again, frowning. "And now you probably think I'm crazy, don't you?"

(In explanation as to why she feels this way, I originally used her character as a superhero who is a pyro- and photokinetic. One of her weaknesses is water, so she doesn't like rain.)

@ShadeStar

Brendon shook his head, "No never! I feel the same way in dark places. It's kind of weird isn't it."

(Explanation. His original character gets possessed by a shadow spirit and ends up being the villain of the story. PTSD much?)

@ShadeStar

Brendon nodded and smiled, "Really. I think it means in some alternate universe we have some sort of ability that causes these feelings. So I believe they're pretty cool."

@ShadeStar

Brendon nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah! So don't ever let someone tell you your crazy for thinking that."

"All right, I won't," Blaine agreed, a hint of laughter edging her voice. A drop of rain fell down her neck, and she winced. Her voice was strained as she asked, "Could we get out of the rain now?"

Blaine stood as well, then looked around for someplace to go. She noticed a small bookstore just a shop away from where they were and pointed it out.

"We could go there," she suggested.

Blaine turned back to shoot him a smile, then slowed a bit to match his pace. She casually brushed her damp hair behind her ear before smirking mischievously.

"So… What were you saying about 'some huge massive' thing?" she asked, almost knowingly.

@ShadeStar

"Yep!" he squeaked out. Stupid face, and emotions. He liked Blaine, but it was a pain at moments like this.

(Lol.
Sorry, the parents of the kids I was watching got home, so I had to give my report on their kids.)

Blaine stopped walking for barely a moment, debating on what to do next. She could either do the first thing that had come to her mind, which would be really funny to see Brendon's reaction to, or she could do the second, which would most definitely make him blush. Eventually, she decided on the second option.

Starting to walk again, she tentatively reached over and took his hand.

@ShadeStar

Brendon's face heated up as Blaine grabbed his hand. He tried not to notice it as awkwardly took her hand.

Nessa watcher Blaine and her admirer wander into the book store and then at Vender, oh to be young and in love… Wait Nessa you're younger then all of them Nessa rolled her eye's at her own thoughts before running into the rain the water clinging to her hair taming the frizzy mess. She watched a teen get into a car and drive away More like to be 16 and able to drive she shock her rain soaked hair and glanced back over at Ender and Venus laughing and kissing in the rain the sight called to a memory she had to her. Pulling out her phone and shielding it with her jacket, she scrolled through her photos until she found a young couple dancing in the rain with a 5 year old kid snuggled between them. that's why it looks familiar Nessa marveled at the similarities between Venus and her the woman in the photo, "She's like a clone of you Mom." she found her self whispering as she put away her phone, her mood sobered by memories. "Ender can you drive me home? I don't want to get blisters from running in this."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Blaine smiled when Brendon didn't pull his hand away. This was much better than her first plan, which would have been funny, but it wouldn't have been as nice. If anything, the first plan would have just been cruel to do to him.

Finally, they arrived at the bookstore, and Blaine grinned widely as she pulled Brendon through the doors.
