Ferran nodded. "Okay, we'll stop by his place."
(THIS WAS THE LAST THING SAID)
(Okie, but stop by who's place?)
(Leo, the guy who can see into the future)
(Okie - this is my new favorite word if you haven't noticed.)
"Let's go then," Tia said slowly. She turned and headed back down the stairs, her movements stiff. She couldn't get her mind off of Kaisley.
(lol I use it all the time)
Ferran motioned for the others to follow. The stairs were still shrouded in darkness. "Hey Daveed." Ferran said. "Do you think you could turn on the lights?"
Daveed shook his head. "The lights went out a long time ago and I haven't been able to fix them."
Tia shuddered at the thought of living without the lights, and she grasped the railing tighter.
"No worries though." Daveed said. "I don't actually live here. S'cuse me." He slid down the rail.
Tia backed quickly away from the rail as Daveed slid down it. She almost tripped, but she regained her balance quickly.
"Whoa are you okay?" Ferran asked.
"Yeah, just clumsy!" Tia explained, then continued down the stairs. "As always…" she muttered under her breath.
Ferran followed, stumbling on the last step. "For someone with super speed you'd think I'd be more graceful."
"Same," Tia muttered, letting out a sigh of relief when her feet hit the solid floor.
Ferran regained balance and started towards the door. "I think I know the way to Leo's house…"
"Lead on," Tia advised, practically running towards the exit and light.
As soon as the door was shut Ferran breathed a sigh of relief. "We could get there in a jiffy if we could use our powers…."
"Let's go then," Tia said, preparing to zip off and follow Ferran. (Where's Scarlet?)
