“Any style of dance you’re wanting to teach me?” Cyrus asked, arching a brow in question.

"Not really. Whatever you want, I guess." Kameo chuckled, more awkward than usual.

Cassie nodded faintly. "A haven. . . I guess I did need that." She answered, a soft smile tugging the corners of her lips up. "Especially with class and everything."

“Exactly. Perfect place for you.”

"This was an amazing day." Cassie sighed, leaning back against the sand and looking up at the roof of the cave. She covered her amputated leg self-conciously, trying to block it with her other limbs.

"Not really. Whatever you want, I guess." Kameo chuckled, more awkward than usual.

“One Of those ballroom styles would be fine,” Cyrus said, knee bouncing. “I’m going to be falling over my own feet, though, just to warn you.”

Lilith gently moved her hand away without saying anything about it, laying down next to her. “Glad you thought so, love.”

"Ballroom style? I always thought of you as like, a breakdancing type. Or like, dance-fighting, which is hella fun, by the way, totally destroying your opponents through a fluid dance." Kameo held his empty hot cocoa cup in his hand, still able to feel the warmth,

“Dance fighting and breakdancing huh?” Cyrus asked with a lighthearted laugh. “I feel like my limbs are all too long for that.”

"Not too long, you should never doubt yourself in dance. If you decide your arms and legs are good enough, they will be. I think they're perfect anyway." Kameo always got so defensive when it came to people other than himself.

“My limbs are prefect? I think that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, Kammy,” Cyrus joked, freely using the randomly made up nickname.

Kameo tensed up. What did the nickname mean? Was it endearing? He'd just go with it. "You're welcome." should he give Cyrus a nickname? That might be weird…

Cyrus gave a lazy, lopsided grin. He noticed the increase in the pace of Kam’s heartbeat, making a mental note of it. “So, tomorrow at noon?”

Lilith gently moved her hand away without saying anything about it, laying down next to her. “Glad you thought so, love.”

Cassie smiled, tensing up when Lilith moved her hand away. She bit her bottom lip and looked up, glad that she didn't care or ask about her prosthetic leg. No one had never done that before.

"Yeah! I mean, um, yeah, totally, 'cause I'm free then." Kam leaned back in his seat, trying to play it cool.

Cyrus chuckled a bit, glancing down at his watch to check the time. “That’s adorable,” he commented before continuing like he hadn’t just said that. “I’ve got to get going, but I’ll talk to you later about where to meet at.”

"Hold up, adorable? Really?!" his eyes grew wide, trying to catch the lie in Cyrus's words.

“Hm? Oh, yeah. Adorable,” Cyrus repeated, smile growing as he spoke.

A grin spread across Kam's face, but he tried to push it down as his heart filled with warmth. "Okay."

Cyrus stood, straghtening to his full, towering height. He looked down at Kam, full on grinning now. “See you tomorrow, Kammy,” He said, winking as he stepped away from the table. He checked to make sure the boys had been picked up. He stepped outside, making sure to lower his head a tad so he wouldn’t smack it on the doorframe again.

God, he'd been so obvious back there. And so awkward. Kameo threw his hot cocoa cup in the trash and went outside, heading home to his houseboat.

Cyrus jogged dons the sidewalk at a decent pace, glnancing around as he went by. He blinked a few times, looking up at the red rinted buildings and sky. He wondered what other colors looked like. He had heard of them, colors besides shades of red, black and white, but he’d never seen them.

The demon stared at the ceiling for a moment before flipping onto her side, propped up on her arm. Hand cupped around Cassie’s face, she whispered, “You know… you are absolutely stunning.” Before the girl could react, Lilith leaned down and kissed her gently.

Cassie looked back, her green eyes wide in surprise as she felt Lilith's lips connect with her own. She pressed herself closer and kissed her back softly, breaking apart after a few moments. "I, uh. . ." She stammered, blushing furiously.

She smiled, seemingly proud of herself. “You’re cute when you stutter,” she told the girl, giggling a little.

"I am?" Cassie asked, an embarrassed smile on her lips as her hair fell around her face. She had no idea that people saw her as cute. But, it felt good to hear. Especially from Lilith.

“Es,” She said, pecking her on the lips again. “You are.”
