Cash nods. "I think it was pretty big. And fast. She," he says, meaning Zoe, "Was there and then she was gone."

Peyton put her finger on her lip in concentration. She was seriously curious as to what took that girl, "Maybe it was some sort of giant bug. bugs are fast right?"

Cash holds back a shiver. "Man, I hope not. But…." He nods. "Yeah, that makes sense."

Peyton looked around and let out a small sigh, "We should go after it so we increase our chances of finding the creature. Bug. Thing."

"I know." Says Cash, but he makes no move. Selfishly, he's torn between his fear and Zoe's life. He makes himself stand, slinging his backpack over his shoulder and grabbing his bat. "Let's go."

After stumbling through tunnels, there was no sight of any of the monstrosities in the caves and that made her very uneasy as she peeked her head around the corner and saw the exit, but there were about 5 of the creatures guarding it. They made no movements and Zoe had a feeling she was being watched, she quickly looked back behind her to see nothing there before a drop of liquid dropped onto her hair. She slowly looked up. Crap.

Pollux stood up, clutching his axe. "Alright, I guess we don't have much choice at this point." He followed Cash.

Peyton held the gun in shaky hands, but followed after Cash. What else could she do but trust him?

"Um, what were you guys saying about bugs? Do bugs growl now? Is that a thing they do?" Pollux asked, hoping this wasn't the case.

Cash shrugs, eyes once again searching the surrounding area as they go to where Zoe was. "Hey, it isn't normal for bugs to do, but since when is this all normal?"
Tall plants that he can't identify line their walk, and soon they grow so thick that Cash has to use one hand to tug them aside in order to get through. "This isn't creepy at all."
He cringes at how vulnerable they are right now. Anything, at least anything large enough to carry a full person away in a split second, could nab them where they stand.

(Maybe she knows about the zombie spiders already and can help our guys get through safely? idk)

[This is a neat idea. You could, if you wanted, add different characteristics at will to the creatures, since your character might be an unofficial expert in them. But if you have any ideas that are rather drastic (E.g. "These things sense fear.") please ask before adding.]

Harley saw a group of people from her place in the tree but she also saw a zombie spider behind them. She loaded an arrow in her cross bow and shot it. She knew she hit it from that loud screech it made as it fell

(@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl, see @Becfromthedead 's summary. That's pretty much it. Your character, Lila, is with Cash, Pollux, and whoever else is with us. None of us have met Harley yet, but it seems we are about to.)

It all happens so fast. The whoosh of something flying past their heads, the wet thump of whatever it was making contact with something.
Cash whirls around at the piercing screech. A creature that Cash would describe as 'a bug on some messed up alien steroids' flails on the ground behind them, its giant body standing and falling to the ground repeatedly.

Harley walks over and plus is out her arrow from the creatures body, “you know, you should really watch your back.” She said wiping the arrow clean.
