"I think so too." Charlie agreed with a slight smirk. "If you want, we could even help you with these errands." she offered, gesturing towards the notes.

Elric just shrugged again. "I have no objections. We got an early enough start we can do either."

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Daisy shrugged. "I was already prepared to drop off the medicine, adding the notes isn't too hard. You can come with me, I'm just dropping stuff off." She said, heafting her bag onto her shoulder and picking up the delivery bag. "The route goes straight through town, and we can leave right after. My delivery bag folds up pretty small, so I'll put it in my bag after."

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Daisy nodded, starting off. True to her word, it took less than 20 minutes as she dropped off medication and notes.
Irae followed closely, watching the streets around them. When they reached the edge of town, she turned to Eldric. "Where are we heading?"

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Elric met her gaze for a moment before clearing his throat. “I’ve been traveling that direction, for the most part,” he gestured, “to try and outrun whoever comes after this… item. But I suppose it depends on whether we choose to find a way to safely destroy it, or if we go after the one who sent my old colleagues after it in the first place.” he told the group.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae quickly said "Go after the 'boss'", swishing her tail slightly under her cloak.
Daisy, about the same time said "We should probably destroy it first."
Irae glared ad Daisy, but Daisy didn't seem to notice.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Charlie rolled her eyes, seeing that she was on track to being the tie breaker. “Well, I think I know what Elric’s vote is going to be too.” she shrugged. “Notice how he said “find” a way to destroy it? Not to mention that an object like this is going to be difficult to do so without serious consequences.” she pointed out. “But, if we go after the guy who wanted it, I’d bet he has information about it. Maybe we could find how to break it there.”

“And I admit I hadn't thought about what he might have, but I remember where the guy… well, where he said he came from.” Elric added. “I’m not discounting the possibility of him lying, but at least it's a start.”

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae nodded, and Daisy shrugged. "That seems like sound reasoning to me. Alright. Which way?" She asked, adjusting her bag.
Irae shifted her bag over her back, the wounds still being a bit sore. It wasn't painful, but it wasn't the most comfortable thing either.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“Loumor.” Elric answered, giving the name of the grand city he and the others had been given before they had been hired to get the mirror.

Charlie froze for a moment, blinking as she turned to Elric. “That means we have to pass Asturia, right?” she asked, hoping she had her geography wrong.

“Among other places, but yes.” Elric shrugged as he started off.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae glanced between them. "Is there something wrong with Asturia?" She asked, following Eldric, but pausing to wait for Charlie.
Daisy had been about to ask the same thing, but shrugged and followed behind, passing Irae as she waited.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“No. Nothing’s wrong with it.” Charlie said, shaking her head as she adjusted her cloak and pack. “It's just… I've been there before and… well, remember that conversation we had about the snobby upper class? That's where I developed that opinion.” she explained.

Elric raised a brow at the answer but didn't join in. He’d known a couple of people who fit Charlie’s description anyway.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae nodded. "Ah. We could try to walk around the town and not go in? Or I could-"
Daisy cut her off. "We can try to walk around. That's a good idea." She might not have known exactly what Irae would have said, but she was sure it would be somewhere along the lines of killing the entire town.
Irae shrugged. "If Charlie wants me to, I will." She said, looking over to Charlie. "She's the one in our party they made a bad impression on."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Charlie raised a brow at Irae, wondering what she might have said and concerned about what she was thinking. “I don't have a problem with Asturia as a whole and I’ll be fine if we have to go through it.” she assured, partly trying to convince herself as well. “But if we can avoid the richer sections of it… and the merchant square, that would be preferred.” she admitted.

“Well, we still have a ways to go before we even reach Asturia’s gates.” Elric pointed out, glancing back at Charlie. “Let's wait until we're closer before we make too many plans.” he advised as his eyes turned towards Rae.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae nodded. "That's fine. We can wait." She said, walking next to Charlie. "How far is it?" She asked, not impatient, but simply planning.
Daisy walked a bit behind Irae and Charlie, and nodded as well. "I'm good with that."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Elric shrugged. “Without looking at a map, I’d say we're two or three towns away from Asturia… and that's not including the smaller villages scattered in between.” he added thoughtfully. “Then, at least, one or two till we reach Loumor from Asturia.” he said, reminding the group of their real destination.

Charlie nodded. Loumor was their mission, not Asturia. She could handle Loumor. “Has anyone in this group ever been to Loumor before?” she asked, more directing her question to Elric and Daisy than to Irae.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Daisy shook her head. "I grew up in a small village slightly north of this one, and then moved here. I've gone on a couple small expeditions around here, but I've never been farther than two villages away." She noted.
Irae recognized that the question wasn't for her, so she stayed quiet.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“I…” Elric started before pursing his lips as his brow furrowed. But he quickly shook his head. “I've been there a couple of times. It's a large city as you can imagine. Nobles from all over are always trying to arrange visits with members of Loumor‘s high society.” he sighed as if the very thought was tiring.

“So I've heard.” Charlie nodded. “I’ve never been either but the reputation I heard made it seem like it was the capital of the kingdom. Gilded halls, marble pillars, the finest wine, and the most important company.” she said, impersonating a grand Lady swooning over such things. “But I doubt it's all that impressive. A city that extravagant has to have another side to it.”

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

"Thats why we're heading there. To confront part of the 'other' side." Daisy said, nodding. "Honestly, I'm glad I'm not a nobel, it seems exhausting to arrange appointments, play nice with the other nobles, always look so prim and proper." She said, sighing.
Irae looked at Daisy, shrugging.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

(been rereading the RP and noticed a typo. Autocorrect’s been changing Elric’s name to “Eldric” lol Sorry for the confusion)

Charlie couldn't help scoffing under her breath at Daisy’s oversimplification of noble life. “More than exhausting.” she muttered, her tail flicking sharply.

“Honestly, we may be dealing with where those parts meet.” Elric admitted as he rubbed the back of his neck. “The kind of money this guy was willing to pay for the item was pretty substantial.” he pointed out.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

(ooh that makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification lol)
Irae sighed. "Great." She muttered. "Cupitdas' people." She was speaking low enough ontly Charlie could hear her. Out of all her sisters, she seemed to like Cupidtas of Greed and Wealth the least.
Daisy didn't say anything in response to Elric's remark.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Charlie barely choked back a laugh at Irae’s soft-spoken comment before nodding. “Certainly sounds like.” she whispered back, with a faint smile. What she knew about Cupitdas fit surprisingly well with how she imagined Elric’s mysterious former employer.

Elric just sighed and ran a hand down his face. He didn't seem to be listening to the conversation or the whispered words. In fact, despite his steps never faltering… he seemed very distracted, as if his mind was miles away.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Daisy noticed Elric's distracted expression, and sped up a bit to catch up. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked, gently tapping his shoulder.
Irae smiled slightly. "I understand that it's not really her fault she is who she is, but Cupidtas is just so obnoxious-" She muttered.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Elric practically jumped at the touch, his gaze clearing as he stared at Daisy for a moment before nodding. “Yes, I’m alright.” he said softly. “Sorry… I just… got lost in my thoughts.”

“I can understand that. She’s kinda meant to be that way otherwise she would have the titles and position that she has.” Charlie replied calmly. “I just hope she doesn't have an interest in this guy we’re going to have to deal with.”

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae shrugged. "Even if she did, she wouldn't interfere with me there. She doesn't usually bother with the mortal realm though." She said.
Daisy nodded. "I get that. Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked, not really knowing what 'it' was.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

"That's a huge relief." Charlie smiled a little. "I'd hate to get on her bad side because we're going after one of her 'favorites' or something."

Elric shook his head. "Thank you, but no. It's not important anyway, and I wouldn't want to burden you." he explained as he turned back to their path, though he seemed unable to lift his head again.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae nodded and went quiet, not sure what else to talk about. She took a swig of water, just watching the path.
Daisy watched Edric, worried. "Are you sure? It's really no problem. It wouldn't be a burden." She said. "A burden shared is a burden halved, you know" she mentioned.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Charlie respected Irae’s silence and just walked alongside her, brushing her tail against Irae’s side.

“Or doubled.” Elric countered with a sigh. “I appreciate your concern, truly. But… It's difficult to explain, first of all, I barely understand it myself. And secondly… what I do understand of it is very contradictory. I fear trying to explain it would invite more chaos.” he admitted.

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Daisy nodded. "That's fine. I am here to talk if you need to though, okay?" She said kindly.
Irae glanced at Charlie. "Will we make it to another town to sleep, or will we be camping tonight?" She asked.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“Thank you.” Elric smiled softly with the tired eyes of a man facing a silent war against himself.

Charlie shrugged. “Since we're walking, I imagine camping. If we had or could afford horses or something, we’d probably make it to the town.” she admitted. “Don't know why it always seems like the town and villages between cities are spaced apart like that.”

@Avhira-The-Eldritch-Horror group

Irae shrugged. "Cause when they're close by, they act as one city and start expanding towards each other, probably." She theorised. "Is it supposed to rain tonight?" She asked.
Daisy fell silent next to Elric, letting him think. She stayed close though.
