"Uh, same thing. I'm just waiting for the others," Blaine replied, chuckling awkwardly. She gestured to the rest of the group who were still making their way inside.

"Hey Brendon!" Ender waved.

"Oh right," Brendon ran a hand through his hair, "Aren't you guys running a haunted house or something? To earn money for the test?"

"Hi Ender!" Brendon waved back.

Blaine nodded.

"Yeah, we are," she said. "We could actually use another hand, if you're interested."

Turning to Ender, Blaine gestured for him to come inside.

"Come on, drag your girlfriend in so we can finally eat," she demanded.

"That would be awesome!" Brendon smiled, "I didn't exactly know where I was going to get the cash. My parents said they aren't paying for it since I'm technically an 'adult'."

(I'm stilling freaking out over the fact that these tests cost 60 dollars.)

Ender lifted Venus off the ground. "Come along, girlfriend, Blaine is hungry."

"Great!" Blaine grinned. "Yeah, I don't even know how we came up with this idea in the first place."

"Well, at least you have a plan," Brendon responded, "So when should I show up to help?"

"After school tomorrow would be good. I'll be there, waiting for the late people," Blaine answered, glaring at the others.

Brendon let out a small laugh. He grinned playfully, "I promise I'll get there earlier. Or at least attempt to."

"Well, then, I'll hold ou to that," Blaine replied with a grin, only half joking. "I've gotta warn you, though, I'm a pretty strict manager!"

Brendon responded, "I believe it!"

Blaine winked before turning back to the group, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Come on, guys! I'm starving!" she exclaimed.
