Ender paused, letting the others pass him. "You okay Venus?"

"Yeah," Venus said looking up at Ender. She leaned on him as she walked, smiling at his sweet scent.

Blaine waited for the rest of the group just inside the doors to the restaurant. She looked around, taking in all the Chinese decor.

Brendon noticed Blaine enter the restaurant, he waved at her, "Hi."

Blaine's attention was drawn away from examining the decor when she heard someone talking to her. Brendon was waving at her, so she gave him a small smile and waved back.
"Hey, Brendon. What're you doing here?" she asked.

"Eating?" Brendon responded. Nope that was the wrong answer. Only really awkward people say that.
