Az makes a growling/hissing sound, his tail flicking, “She can suck it then.” He mutters.

"Umm… she's the queen. She doesn't suck anything."

“You sure about that? You have a dad.” He smirks. He nuzzles his face into Ronan’s chest, grumbling. “You’re her son. You should be more important than some stupid royal image.”

He looks down, quiet, “But then. . . Some care enough to cast their son out from their home, banish him and ruin his whole life. . .”

Ronan sighs. "She said you have to leave. But she never said I couldn't leave with you."

Az looks at him, “You sure you wanna leave?” He murmurs, nuzzling his face into his shoulder.

"The only place I want to be is with you." Ronan said, leaning his head onto Az's.

Az sighs, “You should spend the holiday with your family.”

"The family who doesn't want me, doesn't support me? No thanks. I'd rather spend it with someone I actually like."

Az bites his lip, chewing on it, “Ronan. . .”

"What?" Ronan asks, looking down.

Az sighs, “Don’t come with me. Stay with your family.”

"They don't matter. Not to me. Only you matter."

Az sighs, “Ronan, don’t shut them out. Trust me on this.”

"I-I just- if you go, then that means they've won. And I really don't want you to go. I-" Ronan shakes his head sadly.

Az shrugs, “And? Your family is important. . . Don’t Mae decisions you’ll regret later.”

"But I know I'll regret it if I let you leave."

“I don;t know. . . Your family is important as well.”

"You're more important."

“No, I’m not, Ronan. Don’t be stupid.”

"But you are. Why should I waste my time on a shitty family when I have you?"

“Because. . . Even if they’re shitty. . . They still matter. . .” He whispers.

"But… you matter too."

“Yeah, and you live with me in the dorm.”

"I don't want you to go."

“I know, I’m sorry. . .” He mumbles.

Az sighs, “I’m leaving and you’re staying to spend the holiday with your family.”
