Yui was still sound asleep, and Toni was reading in the seat next to the bed.

Kiki blinks sleepily, then looks over to Toni.

Toni looked at Kiki and smiled. He offered her an orange cup.

She smiles softly and takes it. “Thank you…”

He nods and gently rubs Yui's shoulder to wake them up. They woke up and looked around.

Kiki looks up at Yui. “Are you ok?”

Yui's face looked flushed as they nodded. Toni seemed a bt confused, feeling their forehead and feeling they had a fever.

Kiki frowns, then cuddles close.

Yui smiles a little and gently puts Kiki's hair into a small ponytail.

She squeaks softly, closing her eyes.

They smile back as a nurse comes to check up on them.

The nurse checked their heart rate and oxygen levels, along with checking their temp. They saw Yui had a fever and went to get Yui some cold medicine.

Kiki stayed ‘hidden’ underneath the covers, silent.

The nurse then noticed Kiki and chuckles a little, gently patting the covers where her back is.

The little Kiki shaped lump in the blanket moved closer to Yui as a little squeak came from it.

They both giggle a little as Yui gently pulls Kiki out onto their lap.

Kiki yelps, pulling the blanket over herself. “Noooo…!” She mutters. Her once seeming ‘grown up voice’ was slowly melting into a more childlike tone.

Yui gently strokes her hair to comfort her and show the nurse meant no harm. The nurse pulls up a spare seat and sits by the bed.

Kiki peaks put from the covers, her innocence filled eyes soft with childlike curiosity and wonder.

The nurse smiles and offers her hand to her.

Kiki looks at her hand, then very gently wraps her little hand around two of the nurses fingers.

She chuckles and gently shakes Kiki's hand. The nurse then offered her a small pouch of fruit gummies.

Kiki blinks, then gently takes them with a small bow of her head. “Thank you…”

The nurse smiles. Yui kindly asked the nurse for something to drink, like a sprite or water, since they felt a little nauseous.
