forum I need an excuse to use a gay demon oc so I made this (probably one on one?)

"Well, it's up to you…" he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Sorry I'm not good in these situations."

Rose smiled a little bit and shrugged. “We can walk together. Maybe quickly pick up some water on the way back,” he suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea," he said. "But I'm not sure I can just walk into a store like this."

“Don’t worry, I can get it,” Rose said, giggling at the thought of Cade doing so.

"Thank you," he said, smiling.

“Anytime,” Rose said with a smile, beginning to walk. “We should probably stick to more alleys and backroads, just so you aren’t seen.”

"Yeah," he said, putting his hands in his jean pockets. "I probably should've worn a hoodie."

“It’ll be fine, you couldn’t have expected this to happen,” Rose said, trying to be comforting.

"I should've prepared for it," he mumbled. "What if you weren't a demon? Things would've been completely screwed up, then. And I'd have to find my own way home while trying to keep my stupid fish face hidden."

“I’m trying not to think about all of that, really. And it’s not stupid. Looks more normal to me than these human bodies,” Rose said, motioning to himself and then Cade as he spoke.

He shrugged. "I dunno. I don't like my demon form that much," he admitted, looking down at his shoes as he walked.

“Why not? I think it looks pretty cool,” Rose said, trying to provide Cade a bit of self esteem.

He smiled sheepishly. "Thanks."

“You’re welcome. Demons have to stick together, right?” Rose said with a gleeful smile as they walked.

He laughed a bit, his smiling growing wider. He didn't like smiling in his demon form because his teeth were sharpened, which was intimidating, but he felt comfortable around Rose. "I guess so."

Rose was pleased to hear Cade laugh, and it made him feel all giddy inside. They arrived in front of a small convenience store and he turned to Cade. “I’ll get you a few bottles of water, okay?”

"Okay, thank you," he said. Cade reached into his pocket and pulled out a ten dollar bill. He held it out to Rose. "Here, that should probably cover it."

Rose looked at the money and shook his head quickly. “No, it’s fine, I can pay for it. I don’t think bottles of water cost much here.”

"You sure?"

“Positive!” Rose chirped, smiling. He walked into the store, glancing around before heading towards the back where the freezers were. One he was there, he collected a few water bottles into his arms. He wasn’t sure how much Cade needed, but he was drinking a lot of water earlier, so it was bettter to be safe.

Cade stood there waiting and tapping his foot, not sure what to do.
(btw any ideas on where to go with the plot after this?)

(Maybe there could be some threat, like between Heaven and Hell)

Ross came out a minute later, holding the water bottles in his arms. He looked at Cade with a bright smile before holding out a water bottle to him.

(that sounds cool. what do you want to do?)
Cade's eyes lit up and he grabbed the water bottle, chugging it within seconds. A moment later, he began to revert back to his human self. "Thank you," he said to Rose, smiling gratefully at him.

(Like maybe Heaven accused Hell of kidnapping one of their important angels, and it’s causing conflict on Earth)

Rose laughed a bit at how quickly Cade drank it. “Want another?” He asked.

(That would probably work. But that would mean that Cade would have to go to war since he has control of one of hell's largest demon armies. At least that's how it is in my story lol)

"That would be really nice, actually," he said, tossing the water bottle in a nearby trash can.

(Ooooh. Well, we’ll see lol)

Ross held out the other bottles to Cade. “Take them.”

"Thanks," he said, taking the bottles. He drank from one, slower this time. Cade looked over at Rose. "I should probably head home now."

Rose ran a hand through his hair before dropping it back to his side. “Yeah, that would probably be best,” he said with a slight smile. “I had a good time.”

"Me too," he said, nodding as he said it. "Is it okay if I call you another time?"

“Oh, of course!” Rose said, sounding eager. He cleared his throat, smiling a bit calmer now.
