The being tilts its head.
"Until then? Just remember this moment. Remember everything."
The being tilts its head.
"Until then? Just remember this moment. Remember everything."
That's… not what he asked. But it'd be better not to fight it.
Naveil would remember this, alright. And he'd remember to deal it back to this… monster tenfold. But for now? He held his tongue. He thought about every swear he knew, and about ripping something - or someone - to shreds.
The being chuckles.
"Quite the impressive vocabulary. I may have actually learned a new swearword from that."
Aibhe was mad that they were being ignored.
(hold on is pherloxz the god were supposed to team up and fight? or are we fighting a god with a god?)
(also, sorry avhira-)
Aibhe was surprised at the random question, and the knowledge into the future.
(I'm not sure…)
OH! The readers could hear each other. That made sense.
(all good)
(lmao prbly not Stubs)
(totally not waiting cause i went to sleep and this thing moved on. i will find a good time to jump back in…)
(eventually)
(I think Maria still has Caladium pinned to the ground)
(Think so, yeah. It's mostly been Fairlocks yelling at Navidad as of right now-)
(fair locks and navidad)
Naveil gave an unamused grunt. What did this thing want from him? Just to embarrass him? Was that it?
Another step back. He was considering running, honestly, but the way it… phased up onto the tree branch? Yeah, right. That'd be a great way to end up running directly into it. Another step back.
The others in the clearing seemed… lifeless. All sitting and staring and not acknowledging the moving pile of night sky that was very much threatening him. He'd get payback on them, too. Later.
"You say you know everything, so here's a question: where am I?"
(uh yeah can I get a number 12? and can you put the Burger Under My Pickles?)
(read the capital letters)
Maria let Caladium up, but didn't take her eyes off them. "Watch yourself," she whispered, "some of these people still believe your innocent… wouldn't want to prove them wrong yet now, would we?" Maria kept her dagger out, angling it so only Caladium could see it, as if to make a point–haha point, I'm so funny,– to Caladium that she was watching them.
Andreas stares at the being from the bench on the side. He had been sitting for a bit, as the being had not noticed him for some reason. It wasn't a star-born or anything he recognized. It was annoying him though, with how it was acting. Andreas began to summon an astral bow and arrow, and aimed straight at the back of the things head.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Maria said quietly to Andreas, "you wouldn't be able to kill it anyways, and there are retributions for attempting."
(maria just uses the forth wall to tell her everything. maybe she uses it a little too much… :) )
Andreas snorts. "Yeah, yeah. Great consequences for breaching the laws of reality or some crud like that. I don't care, I feel like punching the big eldritch lug in the face, or at least hitting him with an arrow." He lets loose the arrow, firing at the strange being.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," Maria said as Andreas released the arrow.
The arrow flies into the being with a sound like a banjo being slammed into a cow's face, ripples like it had been fired into a vat of honey spreading along the being's body.
The waves then continue visibly outside its body, folding the air into hexagons and inverted spheres as the being slowly twists its head around, squelching and cracking sounds shattering the "peaceful" air.
"Did you need something, Andreas?" it asks calmly.
"Hm. So you know my name then… Neat. I was hoping you'd at least react in pain but I suppose with an ego that big, you can't even feel that huh? I'd dramatically introduce myself, but it seems you know who I am already. Though I'd appreciate an intro from you."
Maria reached past the fourth wall, grabbing popcorn from one of the readers. "This is going to get interesting," she said to herself.
The being has an air of casual violence about it, seeming to glare - though it, still, doesn't have any eyes.
"'Ego?' What 'ego?' The only ego I see here is yours, human. If you see ego, it might be you reflecting your own insecurities unto me, which is not my issue. I have no need nor desire to introduce myself to someone as insignificant and petty as yourself. So either silence yourself or I will infiltrate whatever petty universe you crawled from and destroy everything you love and force you to watch as I twist it to match myself." it states.
(popcorn eating intensifys)
(Stealing is bad Maria)
(what if the readers gave it to me???)
Caladium stands up and climbs back up into a tree, glaring at Maria and the creature.
(Ok fair enough)
