"Uh, okay," John replied, stunned that Sherlock might actually eat human food.
"Uh, okay," John replied, stunned that Sherlock might actually eat human food.
"About me…. you know, disappearing for a while. Are you really okay?"
"Well," John mumbled. "At first, I was not okay. I wasn't eating or doing anything, so I was prescribed some…stuff." He sighed.
"It was really hard, but now I'm okay. I'm okay."
"So you were on drugs for a while, basically. Any side affects? Good, bad?"
"The basics; headaches, dizziness. It was really bad combined with my..PTSD." John frowned. "I was really not okay."
"You're okay now, I presume? Or are you in a state of emotional dilemma?"
"Well, what do you expect?" John fiddled with his fork. "My best friend presumed dead just showed up at my old flat while I'm high on drugs and already feeling down." John cleared his throat. "Sorry."
"What for? It was an honest answer."
"I know, it's just; I wish that you would've just contacted me or something, anything." John paused and looked down. "It was really hard."
"I… well, I'm sorry. But I suppose that snuffing out most of Moriarty's connections would be incognito work."
"Yes, of course, I understand." John nodded. "I'm really glad you're back."
"You're pissed off, aren't you?"
John chuckled. "Just a little bit."
"Well, let's order something. I guess."
"Hmm, yes." John gestured for the waitress with his hand.
(Who is gonna act out the waitress?)
(i can lmao)
"Hi, yes, are you ready to order?" The waitress took out her pen and notepad.
"Don't be daft, of course I am." Sherlock said.
The waitress looked at him intensely. "Okay, what would you like?"
"Salad. I guess."
"Alright, then. What about you?" The waitress asked John.
"Ta, the mushroom ravioli looks delicious, thank you." He closed the menu.
"You can go do your waiting duties, I guess." Sherlock said, waving the waitress away.
The waitress cleared her throat. "Alright." She walked away.
"Right. So, I guess we're going to just sit here now?"
"Yep, that's how a restaurant works." John smiled.
"And do nothing."
"Most people chat, discuss things." He gestured to the other people around them.
"But we aren't chatting, not really. Is this normal?"
