"It's Lestrade, isn't it?" Sherlock sighed, he should have seen it coming.

"Look," Mycroft said. "Just go to dinner with this person, and we'll call it even."

"Even is irrelevant. The so-called 'Client' is relevant."

"Just go to dinner." Mycroft scolded and hung up. He chuckled to himself

"He knows something I don't." Sherlock thought.

"Ta," John smiled as he walked into the room, dressed very nice. "I'll see you later, Sherlock."

"Right." Sherlock muttered. He texted Mycroft, You never even told me the address!

Mycroft texted Sherlock. 1621 Peyton Rd.

Sherlock called a cab and went to the address. I'm here, where is your "Client"? he texted.

Mycroft texted. Just go inside and say reservation for Holmes, the should be there already.

Sherlock walked in. "Reservation for Holmes." he said, bored.

"Of course." The hostess gestured to a table where John sat.

"John. Hello. Or something?" Sherlock was mildly amused. John as a client?

"Sherlock." John frowned. "You're not 'Mycroft's pretty friend."

"Mycroft's pretty… wait, what?" Sherlock was stunned.

"My-he, Mycroft set me up for a blind date, with his 'pretty' friend." John massaged his temples.

"Well, that explains why he was laughing like a maniac over the phone."

"Wait, what?" John began to piece the puzzle together.

"He obviously was setting you up with me. You know, since he thinks we're in love."

"Should we just leave?"

Mycroft texted. We had a deal. You stay.

Sherlock texted back, Are you stalking us?

Mycroft chuckled and texted. Perhaps.

"Well, this is strictly business, I suppose. Menu?" Sherlock asked, offering John a golden embossed pamphlet.
