The officer sighs, “We’ll run an investigation then.”

Reo stays quiet, then huffs, “Just get out, you’re making im uncomfortable. I need to calm him down and I can’t do that with you standing there.” He turns around, crouching again.

The officer sighs, then walks out.

Lixian whimpers, hiding his face.

Reo moves next to him, “Shh. . .”

Lixian keeps trembling from fear, listening to the sirens slowly go away.

Reo rubs his back gently, “Shhh. . .”

Lixian leans into him, hiccuping.

Reo kisses his forehead, humming a soft tune

Lixian closes his eyes, starting to calm down.

Reo kisses his cheek.

Lixian shudders, “Is…she gone…?”

He nods, kissing his nose, “She’s gone.”

Lixian nuzzles close.

Reo holds him close, kissing his nose again.

Lixian starts to relax, melting into Reo’s arms.

Reo smiles softly, nuzzling into his neck, relaxing.

Lixian sighs. “I’m sorry…”

“There’s nothing to be sorry for.” He gently kisses him, “You dont have to be sorry for anything when it concerns me.”

Lixian nuzzles closer. “Yes I do…”

“No, you don’t. . .”

Lixian sighs, going silent.

Reo kisses him again, “I’ll always forgive you, no matter what you do.”

Lixian bites his lip. “Why…?”

Reo looks at him, “Its what friends do. . .”
