(I guess…)
(ok)
Paige walked up the stairs to the main doors and was surprised to see that her friends were nowhere in sight. She shrugged; they were probably late. She just went to first period and sat down. No one was there, so she pulled out her phone and checked her messages. Nothing from Jana… or Michelle… or Carissa… Paige sighed.
Stormy woke to silence and sunlight. He looked around, rubbing his eyes. He cursed when he saw the time, 9:00. He jumped out of bed and ran to check on Kai. Kai? Where was Kai? He looked around and saw him on the bottom of the stairs. Stormy half tripped down to get to him. There was blood on the floor next to Kai's head and he wasn't breathing.
Paige could feel the soft caress of a tear trickling out of her eye, but she wiped it away roughly. "They're busy, probably sleeping late," she reassured herself.
Stormy felt a sob escape his lips and ran to call 911. "Hello, yeah my cousin fell down the stairs and I think he might be dead." (I laughed when I wrote this… im a horrible person) Stormy sat with Kai until the ambulance got there and drove away with his cousin. He slowly got up and got ready for school. Walking slowly towards the entrance of the school, going to first period. He sat down and saw Paige a couple seats away.
(I know its not accurate but i had to keep it short.)
(Jsyk, Paige is the only one in there at this point.)
Paige looked up, seeing Stormy walk in. His eyes were red. She put away her phone and stood up quickly. "What's wrong?" She went over to where he sat. "What's wrong?"
Stormy crumpled in his seat, sobbing. "Kai's dead." He said between sobs.
(little repetitive)
Paige felt like someone had punched her in the chest. The wind went out of her. She regained her breath and sat beside Stormy. She put an arm around him and tried to comfort him. "I'm so sorry," she whispered.
"It's my fault." Stormy whispered. Then feeling a sudden rush of anger, he screamed. "IT'S MY FAULT. IT'S. ALL. MY. F*CKING. FAULT." Stormy pulled out of Paige's arm and kicked his desk over, screaming it over and over again.
Paige backed up and tripped over a chair. Her head hit the floor and she yelled painfully.
"Paige!" He yelled, jumping over his tipped over desk and crouching next to her. "Not you too. I'm so sorry." He said. He helped her sit and pulled her into his lap and looked at her head. "Is it okay?" He asked.
Luena entered the fairly empty school. Most of the kids were out on a three day science field trip to the east coast. She just sort of moseyed down the halls.
(Herro?)
(Hello.)
(hi)
(So it's the next day, right?)
(yeah)
Darren walked into class, late as usual. He had taken medication this morning for the pain in his head and it was making him drowsy.
Lloyd just did his best to ignore the pain. He knew he should probably be checked for a concussion, since he likely had one, but he didn't really care. His ears were ringing loudly as he walked through the halls, people staring at the dark bruises on his face.
"Hey Lloyd, how are you holding up." Darren walked over to Lloyd.
"M'fine… Alek needs to pull himself together. I didn't even do anything to him! I barely said anything!"
"Yeah, he's a bit neurotic…"
"You ready for practice after school? I've been looking over my lines some."
Lillian groaned lying on her bed. Since she had come home so late last night, her assholes of parents decided to lock her in. The only entertainment there was her books, the campaign she was building, and her script. She grabbed her campaign and began writing.
"Paige!" He yelled, jumping over his tipped over desk and crouching next to her. "Not you too. I'm so sorry." He said. He helped her sit and pulled her into his lap and looked at her head. "Is it okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine, I'm fine," Paige insisted, wincing slightly. She blinked quickly a couple times, breathing kind of hard. "I'm… good… I promise…" Her words slurred for a second, but she was fine again. She went to stand up, rather quickly.
Stormy was thrown back by Paige getting up and looked up at her in shock. "Paige…" He said getting up. "Let me see your eyes." He took her head in his hands and looked into her eyes for a concussion. "No concussion." He said, relieved.
(Lol we already got two concussions we don't need another. Should we time skip to rehearsal?)
