"giraffe… terror… okay, um–" Phoenix bit his lip, glancing around the group. Four of their members were still unconscious, and two of their best fighters were currently out of reach. Come to think of it, why had he let two of their best fighters go somewhere out of reach?!
"I can see them." this made absolutely no sense, as her eyes were still closed. "The bird i sent into the air is acting as my eyes."
(A photo of the monsters?? Do show)
(kinda hard to tell they're animals, but they look pretty messed-up. AI's make weird art, tbh)
(yeah. it was the best out of the nine. think elephants with really long necks. dog faces, wasp stingers, and wings.)
(Yeah, nope, that is a terrifying image XD)
(yeah. don't question what goes through my head when i'm tired.)
(oh boy the stuff that happens when I write tired… good times)
(last night, i got my dad to take me to lee's to get croissants. i dont even remember what was said, but the ride home was absolute chaos.)
(im back! Sry 4 the wait!)) Cole follows the rest of the group while trying to keep an eye on their surroundings. So far the group’s acquired two objectives: find this world’s equivalent of supplies to make a mirror & find and…kill the candlemaker. He was hoping that the second one wasn’t literal - he was just fifteen for stars’ sake!
"we need to get shade and blade back, before the elerafeirests find them."
RinRin appears in the original room, lounging on a couch. "Where- you know what? I don't even care. Something will happen soon. Always does."
Blade tensed up suddenly. "Somethings wrong," She said nervously.
Emilie made the bluebird fly down to the scouts, speaking in emilie's voice. "Turn back! monsters!"
Blade cursed. "Come on!" She ran back without waiting to see if her friend was following.
Shaziri was confused by the talking bird, but she chose not to question it. Instead, she whirled around and ran after Blade, her daggers clenched tightly in both hands.
The bluebird flew back up, and emilie kept the rest of the group informed. "They're heading back our way, it dosent seem like the elephant abominations noticed them."
Titus ran with the others, keeping an eye on them while also looking out for the two that left a moment ago. He could take a couple of monsters down if he needed to, but it seemed escaping was the better option.
Meanwhile RinRin conjured a radio and played some music. His foot tapped to the beat. He just decided to wait until something did happen.
(This adds a comical aspect to it somehow)
(RinRin's entire role should be to downplay action and make it comedical)
Phoenix nodded to Emilie and said, "All right, we should go ahead and meet them halfway. Emilie, keep us updated on the monsters' movements. Maybe we can find a way to slip past or around them."
Titus was pleased with Phoenix's call of action. He took charge and kept responsibility of others. He knew the boy wasn't the only one; Titus–being the oldest–knew he had to be responsible for them too.
"Perhaps we should capture one of the candles that attacked us," he suggested, "It could lead us straight to the candlemaker."
