(Hiiiiii!!! So who wants to start us off? I think maybe Jordie was the last character to speak.)
(Woooooot! *throws sparkles at you *)
(Yes, I think Jordie was. Do we want another character to start it back up? I'm happy to, but want to make sure the other characters are able to speak XD)
(I dont even remember where Rosjāi and Wren were tbh ;-;)
(Oh dear XD)
(I can start, since I have that new character, ig)
(Okay!!! My dude will arrive when you least expect it >:))
Without warning, there’s a loud bang and a flash of light, and a body falls from the sky. The girl tumbles as she hits the ground, rolling into a crouch before she flips braided black hair out of her face. Her eyes dart around frantically, and she tenses, but stops when she hears Phoenix gasp.
“Shay?!” The boy sputters. The girl’s eyes rivet on the redhead and widen… then she shoots toward him like a rocket, tackling him to the ground.
“Oh my Sheasa, Nivian, where have you been?!” She practically screeches in his face as she shakes him from the front of his shirt, “Everyone’s been worried sick, what is wrong with you?!”
Lol, sorry it’s a little long.
(Okay! Blade will just continue to be… there)
Blade approaches them. "Excuse me? Maybe you have the time but the rest of us have stuff to do. Finish whatever crap you've got to sort out quick and then we can go murder a guy with candles." She snorts and starts pacing.
Jordie, in a panic, shrieks, "Oh my gauchos. Are you ok?"
Shaziri blinks, staring first at Blade, then at Jordie with a suspicious look in her eyes. Slowly, she assesses the rest of the group before she leans down to Phoenix.
“Who are these people?” she asks with zero discretion, “Where are we, and why is murder happening?”
“I, ah—“ Phoenix clears his throat awkwardly, “I’ll explain on the way.” To Jordie, he adds, “I’m fine. This happens more than you’d think.”
(Eclipse and I will be back in about 45 minutes. We have lunch. :D)
(👍👍)
(Alrighty!)
Rosjāi and Wren just sit there, watching unsure of what to do.
"Ok, good." Jordie says with a sigh of relief. "And it's nice to meet you," she notes, turning to the new girl. "I'm Jordie."
(have them move toward the direction of the candle-guy's castle. I have an idea of where my guy's going to appear…)
"If we're done settling our differences," Blade says sourly, "Let's get moving. I'm leaving without you." She turns and starts walking.
"Ok, good." Jordie says with a sigh of relief. "And it's nice to meet you," she notes, turning to the new girl. "I'm Jordie."
“Shaziri,” she says, nodding to Jordie, “My friends call me Shay, my enemies call me da’anar, and my brothers call me morally self-righteous and lacking in ambition. Anyway, where are we going?”
Phoenix heaved a huge sigh.
"Long story," Blade shouted. "NOW GET OVER HERE!"
Unaware as the others were, Blade had discovered something, hence the urgency for their attention. As she was walking, a tall, dark shape loomed out of the fog.
Wren and Rosjāi scramble over to Blade's side, watching as the shape looms closer.
When Phoenix sees the others gathering near Blade, he pushes Shaziri off and scrambles to his feet.
"What is it?" he asks, his tone tense.
Slowly, the fog cleared enough to see a pair of bright yellow eyes.
Titus blinked at the raggled group, wondering how in the world these people got together. He stepped into their line of vision without a word.
Dark hair and wearing dark clothes, he was definitely taller–and older–than any of them.
Wren looks up at the new man and whimpers quietly.
Rosjāi pulls Wren close, quietly.
Blade steps forward, drawing her sword. "Who are you, and why are you here?" She asks a dangerous edge to her voice.
Phoenix and Shaziri exchange a look; there is no need to speak. With a subtle nod, Shaziri slowly reaches out to grip the pommel of her dagger, while Phoenix shifts into a summoning stance.
"Don't use your sword on me," Titus says, his voice even, "It wouldn't do you any good. My name is Titus. As for why I am here, it is unclear." He gazed at each character's faces, knowing he was making them uncomfortable, and tried his best to appear harmless. Though, with his personality, it was hard.
Blade snorted. "I've heard stuff like that before. It ended with the person in question trying to murder everyone and me killing them. So maybe provide us with a bit more context as to how we should know your not a psychopath murderer?"
