"I'm Jordie," Jordie replies with a gentle smile to the five kids. "I basically don't have magic, but I was struck by lightning as a child. It did some weird stuff," Jordie remarks, demonstrating by phasing her hand through Blade.

"Huh. i can make snow!" Holly said. Star rolled her eyes. "She's the goddess-in-training for the winter."

"That's actually so cool," Jordie said, looking at Holly's bright eyes.

(I love how easily all of this could have been solved by now if Rayla was here XD)

Wren and Rosjāi exchange glances at this little nugget of information.

Goddess-in-training? Since when do deities exist?

Holly smiled. "And we went universe hopping! maybe thats how we got here…"
Emilie groanes, throwing a phone on the ground, and another a few feet away. "Does magic work here? does technology?" she said, trying to technojump (teleport) through the phones.

"I have no clue," Blade says. "Actually, I don't know anything about technology because we don't have it in our world. Magic does, I think." Luna goes over to sniff the children.

Mira sat, holding a hand out to Luna. Emilie successfully technojumped, and picked up the phones. "Well, thats good, i guess."

"We should get started now," Blade says. "And I guess you're coming with us?"

"Come, my zesty children!" Jordie triumphantly exclaims.

Blade slaps her. "Be quiet, queen of sparkles and zest and other abominations to humanity."

"You're an abomination to humanity!" Jordie loudly replies.

"I am an abomination to humanity!" Blade retorts in agreement. "I am proud of it!"

Phoenix stifles a sigh as he watches everyone greet the newcomers. More children to watch over… sure, they had magic, but they were still, well… kids. He wonders what it was that was drawing people here. Was it the place? Or the group? He wishes Rayla was here, or Danica. She started this whole thing; maybe she knew something to get them out.

"Shoot," Jordie murmurs in defeat.

Blade turns away. "Well? Are we leaving or not?"

"We probably should, sooner or later. We'd best not procrastinate." Jordie notes in agreement.

"Those mean the same thing, Jordie," Blade says.

“I’ll take point with Rosjai,” Phoenix immediately takes the role of leader, “Shade and Blade can watch our flank. Everyone else keep near the middle, and keep your eyes peeled.”

"Right," Blade says, taking the sides and pulling an impressively large sword out of a sheathe on her belt.

Jordie smirks and rolls her eyes at Blade's comment, then takes initiative on what Phoenix said. "Agreed. Anything I can help with?"

"Don't be annoying," Blade says sharply. "Make sure children don't be stupid."

Phoenix frowns briefly in thought before he says hesitantly, “Can you just keep an eye on the kids? I don’t want anybody wandering off.

"Ok, will do. Can I lick the sword?" Jordie says, making her face very cute.

"Over my dead body. Touch it and I stab you," Blade says, shooting Jordie a glare.

"Aw." Jordie pouts. "Reminder that I can murder you too,"

“Uh… I changed my mind,” Phoenix says quickly, “Shade, you watch the kids, and Jordie.”
