@False-andrew flash_on

Wren nods slightly, burying their face in Rosjāi's shoulder once more.

Rosjāi looked startled by Wren's sudden willingness to talk. "Well. That means they like you."

@False-andrew flash_on

"They don't like many people. So you have to have a very comforting aura to get them to even consider liking you." she chuckles.

Wren looks over at Blade and nods, their silver eyes locking onto the woman's.

“Sooo… you guys got here through a clock?” Phoenix says slowly, “Is there any possibility we can get back out through a clock?”

@False-andrew flash_on

Wren shakes their head slightly. "I'm not sure how I got here. . . I just found something in my game that shouldn't have been there - a hallway with four doors and a warped clock at the end - and when I interacted with it I came here."

Rosjāi sighs. "I was out trying to stock up our house for the next few months and found a miniature clock that looked like it was melting. I touched it and bam, I'm here."

Wren nods in agreement. "Theoretically, if we can construct or find the same clock, we can escape."

@False-andrew flash_on

Wren tilts his head.

"It has to be materials from the normal world, since it's a one-way trip. If we make one in the exact same place on this side from this world's equivalent materials, we should be able to get back." they murmur.

@Story_Siren group

"Probably something otherworldly. Maybe combined materials too…probably with a mirror since mirrors are portals…" Cole mumbles. He smiles as the aura sinks into his bones and warms him from the inside out.

@False-andrew flash_on

Wren nods slightly, pointing at Cole to indicate his correctness.

Rosjāi translates. "Cole's right; in some of the books, Alice went to WOnderland through a looking-glass - a mirror. Back in the day they were made of silver, not glass with a reflective backing. So we find something similar to silver, polish it, and figure out a way to activate a spell."

(Hey y'all, sorry I've been absent! I've been busy. Should Jordie fall through the clock, or try to help them out? {because she's still outside of the clock})

Deleted user

(You could just have her fall from the sky or something, lol, there’s no rhyme or reason to this)

Phoenix trotted along near the head of the group with Blade. Considering the others’ stories and apparent lack of battle experience, he figured he and Blade would be their best defense against anything that might attack them here.

(Hope I’m right in assuming that; I figured Cole, Wren, and Rosjai didn’t really “fight”)

@IamNOTachickenok

With a crack of lightning, small Jordie is seen to be falling from the sky. She lands with another thud.

Deleted user

Phoenix jumps before his eyes widen, and he runs toward the girl.
"Are you okay?!" He asks frantically, dropping to his knees next to her.

@IamNOTachickenok

"Yep, used to it by now. Thanks though!" Jordie says, jumping up onto her feet. She looks up at Phoenix. "What's it like, being tall?"

Deleted user

"Uh…" Phoenix is thrown off by the question, "It's… fine? I guess?"

Deleted user

(okay, but now I have this image in my head of Cole doing some dangerous parkour and Phoenix having a mini panic attack on the ground "GET BACK DOWN HERE, YOUNG MAN, YOU'RE GOING TO FALL AND BREAK YOUR NECK–")

@IamNOTachickenok

"Hm. Sounds fun," Jordie replies, giving Phoenix a thumbs up. "So, what the heck is going on her? I'm assuming I'm behind on the whole plan,"

Deleted user

Shade offers an explanation. "We're in a wonderland, but kind of deadish. Hello again."

Deleted user

"We're headed to that tower over there," Phoenix adds helpfully, pointing to the black spire in the distance, "Hopefully to find a way out."
