Ryan smirks. "You might just have to." He phases, the shards going through him as if he didn't exist. Fast as lightning, he ran up on the girl and feinted a swing. He teleported up at the last moment, striking the girl with a low voltage singular bolt of lightning, which, unless she managed to shield herself, would knock her off her feet for a few seconds.

Aurora, still very shook, found herself back on the ground.
The heroine glanced around, there was no-one, just her and the villain. "Well, Surprise," she used her sheathed katana to lightly support her. "I'll give you one last chance to tell me why you're here and what you want." She stood up straight, holding her katana, ready to use it.
"Or what? You'll use your fancy pants Japan sword on me?" the villain scoffs. "I may be new to this whole 'villain' thing, but I am not powerless. Power over the Mind can be regarded as one of the more powerful skillsets simply because, given the strength of the user, anything they can imagine is possible." Ryan smirked.(I'll sometimes say Ryan instead of Silent Surprise cause its easier and sounds less dumb). He puts his left hand up and the shards freeze behind him. He throws his arm forward and the shards fly at the heroine.
