Medusa blushed at the proposition. “Let's take it slow and see where things go.” she suggested, not rejecting the idea.
Medusa blushed at the proposition. “Let's take it slow and see where things go.” she suggested, not rejecting the idea.
Trianna laughs.
"Good to know you're not opposed, at least." she says by way of reply.
Medusa shook her head. “After all I've been through, I'm less trusting of men. Especially in relationships. Women on the other hand… Much more interesting.”
Trianna nods, grinning.
"I'll be honest with you, I haven't been with a man like that since I was a teen. I actually lost my virginity to a woman, anyways." she says.
“That's alright.” Medusa assured. “I hope you don't mind that that sort of thing doesn't matter to me.”
"Honestly, I was just letting you know. I pretty much knew you'd be unbothered by that." Trianna chuckles.
“Oh, good.” she chuckled. “I’m glad you understand.”
Trianna falls silent for a moment before starting to hum a soft tune.
“What song is that?” Medusa asks as she listens to the melody.
Trianna pauses.
"I'm not sure." she says thoughtfully.
“Oh. Well, it sounded nice.” she said softly, a little embarrassed for interrupting.
"I just know it." she shrugs, smiling.
She starts singing in English, slowly slipping into ancient Greek as she sings.
"While you live, shine bright: don't let sorrow you benight. We don't have life long, my friend; to everything, Time demands an end."she sings quietly.
Medusa listened to Trianna sing, barely noticing the change in language but enjoying the sound.
Trianna starts slipping into a different song; the first song was very short.
She was slipping into an Ancient Greek poem she'd learned by herself as practice, singing it quietly for Medusa.
It takes several minutes, but she finishes it.
She "looks" over at Medusa. "Sorry, I just love Ancient Greek poetry and music. It's so interesting."
“Don't apologize. I enjoyed listening to you sing.” she smiled. “Especially in Ancient Greek. Your accent was very good.”
"I practice when I'm at home, where nobody can judge." she laughs softly, face slightly flushed from the compliment.
“Well, if you’d like, you can practice with me now. I won't judge.” she assured. “We can even practice on our trip so you'll be fluent once we arrive.”
Trianna smiles. "Not right now, but maybe later on in the night. After all, our ride did just gete here."
She indicates the Mercedes that had just rolled up in front of them.
“Of course, not right now.” she laughed softly. “But if our ride is here, then we should go. I’m already looking forward to seeing this restaurant with you.”
Trianna smiles. "I'm looking forward to being there with you."
She bows playfully, gesturing towards the car. "After you, m'lady."
Medusa rolled her eyes and chuckled at the chivalrous gesture, taking Trianna’s hand and walking to the car together. Though she did slide into the car first because she had offered.
Trianna giggles, following after Medusa.
"Hey, Mr. Henry. Take me and my friend to the usual restaurant, alright?"
The driver nods, smiling. "Right away, Ms. Gast."
He pulls out and starts driving.
Trianna looks over at Medusa. "So, after we do what we plan on doing when we go to Greece, what would you like to do?"
“If we survive, you mean.” she whispered. “I hadn't really thought about it.” she answered in a normal tone. “I haven't seen my homeland in a long time and I'm sure it's changed. But I wouldn't mind just seeing the sights and actually playing the tourist.”
"We'll survive." she grins.
"Where do you want to go first, then?" she asks, smiling softly.
Medusa smiled back and nodded, wishing she had Trianna’s confidence. “Well, if we do visit Athens, I would like to show you the Acropolis.” she admitted.
"I'd love that." Trianna replies happily. She falls into a contented silence.
Medusa smiled warmly and leans back against the seat, enjoying the ride. “What about you? What would you like to see or do?” she asked.
Trianna hums contemplatively.
"The Parthenon." she says eventually.
“Really?” Medusa asks, raising a brow. “I mean, it… I hear it's quite a sight so I shouldn't be surprised.” she admitted, watching her words since they were not alone.
Trianna grins. "What can I say, I'm a sucker for ancient megastructures."
