Morgan turns around when she hears someone call to her.
"Who…hello, I'm Morgan. Who are you?"
Morgan turns around when she hears someone call to her.
"Who…hello, I'm Morgan. Who are you?"
“I’m Cole. It’s nice to meet you.”
(Gtg, ttyl!)
(Okay!)
"Um… hi," Eclipse says. "I'm Eclipse." She studies Morgan cautiously.
Cole waits for Morgan to reply.
Eclipse sits there tentatively. Will she like me? What if they leave me behind? She tenses up.
Cole notices the first girl’s unease. “You okay, Eclipse?”
"I'm fine," Eclipse snaps, hiding her fear inside. She would not let anyone else know.
"Okay," Cole replies, putting his hands up. He hums and wanders around the deck again. Hopefully more people would show their faces soon.
Eclipse stands up and walks to the other side of the deck. Something seems wrong with this ship, but she isn't sure what.
Cole sighs and slumps down on the railing again, this time outside! "Where's everyone else?"
Eclipse turns around, but there's no one there. "Hello?" This ship should be full of people, but there seems to be almost none.
"What is this, a ghost ship?" Cole groans. "At least that'd be more interesting…"
Eclipse walks down to the dorms. Most of them have their doors open, with no one inside. Then she hears a clink of metal, and she runs back up to the deck.
Cole frowns as he sees Eclipse run back on deck. "Something wrong?"
"Something's wrong down there," Eclipse says, clenching her fists. "I don't know what. There's no one down there, but I there's definitely something."
"Yeah, this whole place feels like a, a trap," Cole agrees. "But where would be the best place to hide?"
Eclipse turned around to the higher part of the ship. "We could go up there."
"Sounds like a plan." Cole nods to Eclipse and starts going up the stairs. "C'mon, before someone unsavory catches us."
Eclipse winces but follows. She's still weary of Cole, but not as much. "What if someone unsavory is up here?"
"Good point." Cole takes a sharp left towards the kitchen. "Let's arm ourselves first."
Eclipse finally smiles. "I get first choice of the knives." She runs ahead, her hair flying.
Cole laughs; he certainly wasn't expecting that! "Dibs on the pans!"
"Deal!" Eclipse shouts back, throwing open the empty kitchen doors. She heads in the direction of the kitchen knives, grabbing a few and stuffing them in a nearby bag along with a knife sharpener.
Meanwhile, Cole steers towards the back of the kitchen and takes in the gleaming pots and pans of every size. "Holy mother of pearl." A grin overtakes his face. "Jackpot." And with that, he summons a bag with that new magic and stuffs several pans into it.
Eclipse's eyes snap back to Cole. "What just happened?" Her eyes fill with suspicion once again.
Cole looks up and then realizes how this may look. “I summoned a bag and used some spatial magic to enlarge it. No biggie.” He then continues to stuff pots into the seemingly bottomless bag.
Eclipse's eyes fill with sadness and she looks away, grabbing her own back and heading back to the door. "Alright."
Putting his bag on, Cole inwardly groans at himself. He probably just answered that in the most insensitive way possible. Cole walks behind Eclipse and tries to figure out how to apologize or worm himself into her good graces.
