Rantaro nodded in response before chuckling softly once Kokichi had walked away. From his understanding, he had a crush on Kiibo, and it really did seem like the three could all end up in a relationship together. He didn't bring up the possibility at the time, but it was one that he liked.

Kokichi sighed softly, feeling his heart hurt

The rest of the dinner date between Rantaro and Kiibo went by without many issues, although Kiibo was rather flustered throughout most of it, and soon enough, they were done and heading back home. Rantaro had a plan with Kokichi as well, and once he saw him, he smiled softly. Then he asked Kiibo to leave the room, and once he did, he turned to Kokichi.

"You have a crush on Kiibo, don't you?" he asked softly. "I can tell, so don't deny it."

Kokichi sighed " as Maki said, I am a robot. I have no emotion.." he mumbled

Rantaro sighed softly as he shook his head. Kokichi had already proven that he was capable of emotions and had a lot of them. One of the ones he immediately noticed was his attachment to Kiibo, which he later determined to be love. He knew that he had a crush on the other, and he didn't mind that.

"She's lying to you, and you're lying to yourself," he stated. "You are very capable of emotion. I've seen you happy before, and all that you did for Kiibo to be happy shows that you care a lot about him. I know that you love him."

"and I'm just his project! He loves you! Just go be happy with him.." Kokichi said, sounding nearly to tears

Rantaro quickly shook his head at all of Kokichi's words. If Kiibo didn't care about him, he wouldn't spend so much time with him, and sure, he got incredibly focused on all of his work, but he was always extra focused on Kokichi because he was his friend, not just a project. He really hoped that he could prove that to him somehow.

"That's not true! He cares about you!" he argued. "A lot about you, actually! He always has! I can't tell you how many nights I've heard him talk about you. Whenever we were both up late, he always told me about you, and I never even knew that you were a robot until I first saw you, so you can't say it had anything to do with that. Really, he cares a lot about you."

" he could still never love me.." Kokichi said before turning his head

Rantaro sighed softly at the comment. It became clear that Kokichi had likely never heard of a polyamorous relationship, which was already something that he wanted to have with both Kiibo and Kokichi, so he decided that he would just explain it to him. Maybe things would work out in the end.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked softly. "Kiibo is capable of loving more than one person at once, and so am I. It's this thing called a polyamorous relationship. People who want them can be in love with more than one person at a time, and as long as everyone's okay with it, it's not cheating, so don't worry about it. While it was unintentional that Kiibo and I both realized we're interested in this, during our dinner date, we did. So, with that said, we thought maybe you'd want to be with us, too?"

"that.. that sounds nice.." he mumbled

Rantaro smiled softly at Kokichi's response. So, the three of them could have a relationship together, which would be wonderful since it was clear that they all liked each other. He seemed to be looking forward to it already, and he hoped that it would make Kokichi happier.

"Then let's tell Kiibo," he responded softly. "Does that sound nice?"

"yeah.." he said, his face glowing like a glowstick from the coolant in his face

Rantaro chuckled softly at how Kokichi was reacting to it all before he texted Kiibo telling him that he could join them again as well as that their plan had been a success. Then he entered the room happily, clearly relieved to hear that Kokichi was okay with that idea. He was incredibly happy at the time.

"So, it was a success, then?" he asked, smiling. "I love both of you guys."

Kokichi filled softly, his body making a soft humming sound

Rantaro smiled softly at both of his new boyfriends before he pulled them both into a hug. Both of them were quite a bit shorter than him, but he didn't mind that. He actually thought that they were incredibly adorable, and he was happy to have both of them in his life. While the relationship had only started, he knew that it would last.

Kokichi turned on his heater and giggled. " I love you?" He asked, confused on the sentence

Both Rantaro and Kiibo returned the giggle, happy to see that Kokichi was in a much better mood than he had been a few minutes prior. They were all incredibly happy together, and it seemed like they would stay that way. It was already the perfect relationship.

"We love you, too," Rantaro told him, smiling. "We both love you so much."
