“Yup, come on in.” Alanna said.

He stepped inside, careful to stay on the mat. "Can I….have a towel?"

“You got soaked in the rain too?” Alanna laughed.

"Yeah well when I brain texted you I was standing in the rain so….." He gestured. "Yeah."

Alanna laughed, “Gimme a moment.”
She ran off and came back with a dry towel. “Here ya go.”

"Thank you." He bent over and rubbed his head. He stood up, his hair in a damp floof. "How do I look?"

(I was about to put aDORABLE.)

“Presentable.” Alanna said, taking off the towel on her head.

"Oh! Who am I being presented to?" He mock facepalmed. "OH! that's right you!"

“I’m beautiful so I make the judgements,” Alanna joked.

He nodded. "Fair enough." He wiped his face off and handed her the towel.

“So what was the urgent thing you wanted to discuss?” Alanna asked, taking the towel and gesturing for him to come to the living room.

"Oh yeah…" He turned serious. "Uh…you might wanna sit down too."

“Um… okay.” Alanna said, she plopped down on the couch.

Ferran took the spot next to her. "First off, I called everywhere, I even called my dad." HE raised his eyebrows. "And you know how big of a deal that is."

Alanna slowly nodded.

"And…I can't find any traces of me ever existing." He finished. "I know it sounds crazy but I showed up to school today and the teacher didn't see my name in the list."

“That’s horrifying.” Alanna said.

"Ya think?" He sighed. "My mom called the hospital, no record of me being born or anything!" He looked at her. "What do you think happened?"

“Is someone trying to erase you? Well do people at least remember you?”

"Well….you remembered me….and my mom remembered me….and my dad sorta remembered me." He shrugged. "Besides that, no one else."
(Okay so the author decided to erase Ferran's character from the story.)

“That’s really horrifying. I’m 96% sure that some is trying to erase your existence. Man I hope that person doesn’t go through my photos.”
