Adela glared at her, and said "Maybe I wouldn't if you would give me room to actually talk."

"talk then or stay quiet."

"You really think you can tell me what to do? What authority do you have over me?"

Opal, aloof to the conversation going on, looked up at the cloudy sky. "You better not kill each other now, alright. I'll be right back." she said, then changed into her dove form and flew up into a tree, observing the storm ahead.

"ummmmmmmmmm…. did anyone else just see that?"

"It's not the first time she's shifted." Greg said, her abnormal tongue making the 's' sound run long.

"that's NOT normal you know!"

Iri flew back down, almost getting knocked out by a strong gust of wind, "All of us need to find shelter, we're in grave danger."

"is that a warning or a threat" she says in a dangeros tone

"Well, if you could see the blizzard heading toward us all, I'd let you decide." Iri replied, clearly annoyed, but her voice remaining soft. "My home isn't too far from here," She turned to the others, mainly to the human, "Are you able to follow me there?"

*deep breath in * *sigh * "im following you guys"

"i dont do well in the cold! I'm with you!" Greg said, looking up.

"ha snake"

"welp we should probably go now"

"yeah, probably"

"Alright, come on. Hopefully, you can follow me on foot, i'll be up ahead." She became a dove and flew low enough for them to see her.

jerick run after her without waiting for the others

Adela followed them, because it seemed like the reasonable thing to do

Greg slithered after them, not having enough time to think of a better method of transportation.

"I could try and carry you, if you want." Adela suggested.

"No, i don't want to slow you down. I'll keep up.. just need to watch out for sharp rocks." She said, watching the ground.

"Okay. Let me know if you change your mind."

jerick yells back to them "ARE YOU COMMING OR WHAT!"

As she flew, Iri noticed her cottage in the distance. She cooed back at them, knowing that they wouldn't understand her if she spoke. She landed, transformed, and ran towards the cottage. "Come on, we're close!"

"alright if you don't get a move on i'll carry both of you"

"Who died and made you king?" Adela muttered under her breath. She ran after Iri.

Greg decided to try swinging from the tree branches with her hands. she was slightly faster that way.

Iri opened the door to let everyone in. After lighting the furnace, she let her new guest get comfortable, "So do you guys want something to drink? Tea, coffee?"

"I'd love some coffee, if you don't mind." Adela smiled.

"nah i'll stick with my stuff." jerich says pulling out a flask
