"Is it staying here??"

"Well. . . yeah." Jo nods.

"Oh, okay.."

Jo smiles slightly.

"Would you like to hold her?"

Nikki looked at Jo and shook her head "what if is bites me?"

"She won't bit you. I've been holding her, and she hasn't even struggled once." he replies.

Nikki didn't say anything or even move she just stood there with wide eyes

Jo takes a step forward, then another, gently handing Nikki the kitten.

The kitten starts purring louder.

"See? She likes you."

Nikki sucked in a breath as Jo plopped the tiny thing into her arms and she looked at it for a moment her heart felt as if it were going to explode "why is it making that sound??"

(Nikki's like an alien creature meeting a cat for the first time dear god XD)

"It's happy!" Jo smiles.

"The cats i met before never did this..maybe because they were in a cage.."

"Cats don't usually take kindly to being in cages, yeah." Jo chuckles.

Nikki tilted her head as she looked at the little thing "i suppose it's kinda cute…"

"Kinda? Babe it's frickin' adorable." Jo grins.

"Shut up-" she took a moment before bringing her arm up and scratched the tiny cats head cautiously

The kitten's purring increases in volume, indicating greater happiness.

Jo laughs softly.

"See? She's harmless."

Nikki smiles softly it's barely visible but it's there "i suppose.."

"She's living with us. I'll take care of her litter box, and you can play with her, get used to her being here." Jo smiles.

Nikki nodded and looked to all of the kitten supplies "all of this for her?"

"Yeah. Be glad I didn't get a dog, it would have costed so much more." Jo replies.

"I don't like dogs either…"

"That's fair, I hate dogs anyways." Jo snickers.

"Im terrified of them.."

Jo nods.

"Same here."

"I used to have to train them in the military that's why I have that scare on my upper arm."

"My dad and the people that trained me used to sic starving dogs on me for 'training purposes' or as a life lesson. Had a chunk taken out of my left ass cheek." Jo snorts.

Nikki covered her mouth with the hand she was using to pet the cat and did her best not to laugh "o-oh my god.."

"So now I have an uneven ass. One ass cheek is thicker than the other. They clap weirdly, did you know that? It doesn't clap, it just kinda flops." Jo grins.

Nikki just looked at him her hand moving back to the cat she wasn't sure if he was joking or not she didn't really know what to say "oh my…"

Jo bursts into hysterical laughter.

"That, my dear, is the best reaction I could've gotten."
