Clarissa hums thoughtfully at the advice and nods. She still has her focus on the environment as she realizes she hasn't used much of one aspect of her power. She summons another attack of rocks and forms a network of vines to grab his wrists, ankles, and any other part of him to either keep him still or just make it harder for him to move.

RinRin shines his eye as he uses the Unknown element. He mimics the vines on Clarissa, restraining her. He summons small amounts of fire to burn the vines. Not fast enough. He escapes but is nicked with a few rocks. "My turn." Field trip! He takes them both into the the ethereal realm, throws Clarissa around against a few walls then sends her back to reality, leaving her disoriented. "You must be able to attack accurately even when disoriented. Attack!"

“Oh, sh…” she grumbles as she pulls against the vines under his control. The “trip” to the ethereal realm left her more than disoriented as she returns to reality… she looks like she's about to lose her lunch. “Well… Wasn't expecting to learn that.” she says between gulps of air, trying to keep herself upright. Clarissa knew her power was tied to the Earth and it worked better when she was physically touching at least two of the elements. “I hope we don't have to do that again.”
Finally satisfied that she wasn't going to embarrass herself, she calls the wind and slams a strong gale against RinRin.

RinRin is genuinely surprised as he gets knocked into the sky by a pillar of rock. "Well played." He floats back to the ground and falls from 10 feet up, face-first. huh? Is this something she's doing? Or a side effect of the pillar? He manages to rise, and attempts to ignite his hand. It didn't work. This is problematic. He activates minimal Mind abilties; Attack Anticipation, and Speed Dodging, as he prepares for the next attack. "Next."

Clarissa tilts her head slightly as she watches him appear to struggle. “If you're sure.” she nods, a little worried but not wanting to be tricked. “Let's see… What haven't I used against you yet?” she says as she thinks out loud for a moment. Focusing on the water and wind around her, she formed small icicles about the size of bullets and fired them at RinRin.

Clarissa raises a brow as she catches his comment and plans to ask him about it later. Manipulating the wind around him, she forms a controlled vortex and keeps making the ice bullets as well as chunks of rock fly at him from the, well for lack of a better word, cyclone.

RinRin speaks, "SMH. Thats disappointing. Water won't kill actual people so simply." He mimics Clarissa's earth element and creates four people made of rock to chuck stones at her. While she is distracted, he runs in and starts poking her with steaming hands that don't do any permanent damage. "Counterattack!"

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“I know that! I was hoping to disorient them.” she points out. Clarissa was, admittedly, caught off guard by the sneak attack so when he yelled at her, she reflexively brought her shin straight up between his legs.

She just growls and bats his hands away before using the wind to put some real distance between them. Once she has some breathing room, she directs some vines towards the rocky trio and squeezes them until they fall apart.

RinRin laughs, "Good!" He sends her flying towards a newly made column of fire 75 feet away. "Mid-air combat is the main thing you must work on." He watches her as she goes through the air. "I'm not going hard on you dear, just providing you with realistic scenarios. You learn to release your power. Don't hold back in the right circumstances."
