Seirá shrugs.
"I don't really believe in 'fate.' I think things have a reason for happening. As for school, I graduated early." she replies.
"I think people are inherently good. Usually, at least."
"I'm pretty elemental, and I suppose I'm curious." she says.
“I'm not sure if I believe in fate either. Never really gave it or anything like it much thought.” Clarissa shrugged. “You all saw my abilities so you know how “elemental” I am. And if I wasn't curious, I wouldn't have checked out the light show you two were making.” she chuckled referring to Seirá and RinRin’s first battle.
"Ah, yes. I'd forgotten of that. The self-induced KO probably helped with that." He smiles. He watches as the ball of fire floats down and extinguishes. "Well, if anyone wants to speak with me of the matter. I'll be in the park." He allows the wind to whisk him away to the park where he sits at a bench, meditating.
(I’m here… Just waiting for someone else to respond.)
(you could come speak to Rin or suprise him with a false attack or smth)
(Birds start chirping as they realize nobody's here)
"Maybe 'fate' isn't the best word." RinRin thinks for a moment, allowing it to echo around the assembled three elementalists still standing together. "Maybe… 'a chance' to save what is good. Friends. Family. Humanity. Even our own kind, elementalists. The future elementalists. Consider this."
"I can barely save people in my daytime form. I can't be everywhere at once. And besides, what would we even be fighting? The owlbears? Mothman? The burden of our sins as they weigh down on us, ever crushing our souls into the depths of self-hatred and madness?" Seirá snorts.
"In the end, what can a split-personality elementalist do against the forces of evil when one of her personalities is evil?" she adds.
RinRin chuckles. "I can show you, if you give me the chance." He severs the telepathic communication. He opens his eyes and sees Rexa walking in circles on the picnic table. "Hey, girl." He pets her for a while, wondering if any of them will take up the call.
(gah! Sorry. I stepped away for a minute!)
(but yeah. I like giving other people a turn. Otherwise, it feels like a OxO)
“I already told you I'm with you, RinRin.” Clarissa assured as she took a seat near him at the table, keeping a wary distance from the cat. “But I’ll need help… training if I’m going to be more than just the one to patch us up.” she sighed in some degree of defeat and embarrassment.
RinRin smiled. "Well, then. When shall we start?"
(no… I didn't. I thought he teleportated the whole group back to the park. Should I edit?)
“I’m ready when you are.” she smirked eagerly, willing to learn and hopefully better understand how to use her abilities to their fullest.
RinRin responds, "Okay so you said you're a nature type… Let's start with a grassy setting." RinRin thinks. "Here, take my hand." He teleports them to a forest battleground. "Okay, tune in to your surroundings. Feel nature. You're surrounded by a plethora of nature creatures, and plants. Do you sense the birds and squirrels? Do you sense the way the trees move in the breeze?"
(I have to go in a few, we'll pick this up tmrw, you can go ahead and respond)
Clarissa nods and takes his hand when offered. Once they arrive, she closes her eyes and focuses on what’s around her. “I can sense most of that.” she confirms. “Not so much with the animals… but I can feel their effect. The way the birds feel in the wind. The bending of the branches as a squirrel jumps from one to another…”
"Good… Now, defend! Use your surroundings! Keep your eyes closed." He sends a line of fire towards her. "Water is not the only thing that can extinguish fire. If need be, water can come from within(Like Percy Jackson, lol)."
She nods, a little nervous about being attacked with her eyes closed, but quickly uses the wind to blow out the fire. “I know that. Both of those, I mean. But there's only so much water a person can use from within without consequences.” she pointed out. “It's often easier to use the water from the environment.”
RinRin nods. "Good." He sends a wave of darkness. "And of this?"
Clarissa doesn't open her eyes and raises a wall of earth to defend though she didn't really feel what he was trying to use to attack. “How’s this?”
"Hmm. Interesting." RinRin speaks, "Open your eyes," he says as he closes his. "Attack!"
Clarissa smirks and shatters the rock wall, turning it into a barrage of boulders, and hurls them at RinRin.
