Alice sighs, immediately riled back up again.
"I'm here to get revenge on the fuckers who made fun of me. I never signed up for the changing the world bullshit, either. As long as I get what I want, I couldn't even begin to care what the fuck the side effects of my actions are."
"That's what we're all here for, we need all of us on a mission to take revenge on what they did to us," her tone was cold has snow started to form in the room
Edgar nods slightly, in agreement.
"Winter is right, in that regard." they say.
Alice shoots Edgar a frosty glare.
Winter crossed her arms and shifted her feet and ice started to grow around her
Alice drops the ice screen, little crystals freezing into existance in the room as the temperature drops dramtically, a blizzard swirling around her.
"You want to fight me? I guarantee you'll lose." she snaps, her voice like a whip made out of freezing glass.
Winter dropped her arms and shattered the dagger at her throat, "I'm bored of this, let's get on with the mission," She walked forward and steadily shifted her pace to walk past Alice
A solid bar of ice descends in front of Winter.
"You're scared, aren't you? Not even going to try?"
anger spiked through winter's mind, she lashed out and slapped Alice, "Stop overreacting about everything like a little kid and get to work! If we don't do our job might as well go back to the people that discriminated us!" She screamed
That was all the excuse Alice needed. Thousands of needle sharp slivers of ice condense around Winter, whirling around.
"A little kid? At least I didn't start a fight I couldn't finish. All of my family is already dead, too. There's nobody for me to go back to, since I killed them."
"Maybe you're forgetting that I didn't fucking start this, no body cares about you or your little temper tantrums. Now, I'm going to walk away and get on with our work, our meaning the whole fucking group,"
Alice snarls something, the hum of the ice surrounding her and Winter nearly drowning out her words.
Edgar, not even fearing for their own safety, stands, walks over and whispers something into Alice's ear.
The whispers continue for nearlly two minutes, and by the end of this Alice's ice has entirely left the room.
She looks stunned, and nods slightly.
Edgar laughs, says one last thing, then steps away, sitting back down again.
"Now that she's calmed down, when are we supposed to leave?"
Winter looked to the others, "Right now I believe," she hissed, I'm fucking pissed off now, great. Winter went to her corner where she keeps her things and grabbed her mask, "Let's go.."
Edgar shrugs, standing and stretching languidly, then starts pulling off clothes, getting changed into their own villain costume, putting in piercings.
Alice doesn't throw up the ice screen for him.
Edgar finally pulls on their mask, leaning against the doorframe, waiting on the others.
Alice was already ready to go, in her usual outfit.
With the argument between Winter and Alice finally over, Daya could finally focus on other things. They sighed softly as they went to put their own villain costume on. They were still excited to use their powers and all that, but their energy had faded from their expression due to the argument. It was strange for them to be silent while preparing for a mission, but that was the case that day. They just put everything on, going with the warmer variant of their outfit due to the weather outside, in complete silence.
"Let's just get going.." Winter put her hair up and walked towards the door, "If you're not ready I'm leaving you behind!" She yelled to the others
