Ronni shrugged at him. She didn't feel like she had to, she wanted to.
She did go back to the other apartment, and grabbed his bag. She set it by the couch, rather than handing it directly to him, and went back to her chair, watching him.
That cough didn't sound good, but… it was clean so far.

Lucas gave her a small, slightly wary smile.
"Thanks." He told her, reaching forward and pulling the bag to him by it's singular strap. He rummaged through it for a minute before he pulled out his journal. He then pulled out an emerald green colored felt tip pen and opened the spiral notebook to the first blank page and began writing.

I'm still not sure of the date, honestly.

So, I think I might be sick. Funny story actually, I've always acted like the idea of getting the deluxe flu doesn't scare me, but now that the possibility that I might have it is out in the open, im momentarily, of course, scared shitless.

I mean, yeah, I'm still not sure if I actually the deluxe flu and not some other sickness, but I'm still scared. Nobody wants to be around me, because they're scared too and honestly, I can't say I blame them too much.
I've gotten a bit *upset at how everyone is avoiding me, yes, I know it's because they're watching out for themselves, but it still kind of hurts, y'know?*
Ronni stayed, or at least she's across the room from me in the spare apartment I'm staying in, until we can determine if I have the deluxe or not.
I think that small act of kindness, rather than staying away from me, made things a little better, at least in terms of emotions it did.
We found two new dogs, their boxers. A mother and her pup. Ronni helped me name them, Marti, for the mom and Walli, for the puppy.
I hope everyone in the other apartment takes care of them for me.

I guess I'll stop for now, my eyes hurt and my head is making reading my own writing and thinking about the words to write hurt.

Lucky nodded, impressed. "That's… you should be proud of yourself. I've heard it's a ton of hard work."
On top of that, whether she realized it or not, she was incredibly valuable to the group. Lucky didn't know how to say that after the discussion they'd just had, but…
Well. In an apocalyptic world, a nurse was a VIP.

Ariella looked up to give him a small smile. "It is. Was." She frowned. She was still adapting to using past tense terminology at this point. She wasn't in school anymore. She wasn't a nurse nor would she every be. Life as they knew it no longer existed.

Alastor decided to do what the others were doing and proceeded to fall asleep on the couch, making sure that he didn't move so Liam wouldn't wake up.

Ronni watched him journal. It was a little thing, but it reminded her that the world hadn't completely fallen apart. Some things still went on.
She smiled at him when he stopped. Comforting wasn't her thing. Communicating wasn't her thing. But… she'd try to be there for him in this.

Lucky smiled down at her. "What you know and have worked so hard for is going to be helpful. It's one of those things I hope you never have to use, but…" He glanced in the direction Lucas had gone. "It's kinda inevitable. And I'm glad you're here."

Ariella followed his gaze back to the apartment Lucas now occupied. She turned her head back to Lucky, giving him an even larger smile. Still small, but more.
"Thank you," she murmured before hiding her face once more in his shoulder. "You need a shower." She murmured after a moment.

Her smile and her thank you made something loosen up in his chest, something that had been constricted since they'd started arguing this morning. He squeezed her, just a bit, and chuckled when she commented on his stink. "Yeah, I probably do…" He started to think to when he'd last had one, and… i was far too long ago.
"I think most of everyone else is asleep, so… I'll go do that now, I guess."

Lucas smiled up at her as he slowly closed his journal, eyeing the front cover, which he had doodled all over in different colors.
"How does it feel to be my babysitter?" He asked Ronni, teasingly. "I'm a pretty lame person, Aren't I?"

Ariella knew she should let go of him so he could go shower but she found herself not wanting to let him go. She only wrapped her arms further around him, pressing her face further into his chest. She wrapped all the way around him now. There was no space between them. It was their way of apologizing for earlier, she guessed. As long as they were okay now.

Ronni smiled at him and shrugged. Baby sitting was the easy bit just now. "You're not lame… Though I don't know much about you still." she said quietly. She was going to need to drink more water if she was goinf to use her voice more.
She also realized rather suddenly that Tanya had gone quiet in her head, which was mildly concerning.

Lucky started to step away, but her arms tightened and he couldn't move. He smiled a bit more, looking down at her.
After a moment he asked "You ok?"
Not in a generic way. No, this time his tone carried a little more weight. He was really asking 'are we ok?'

Ariella nodded quickly then finally stepped back from him. She let her arms fall to her side as she looked up at him. She nodded once more. We're good.
She held out her hand for him to take, waiting.

Lucky smiled at Ariella, relieved they were ok. He was a peaceful creature, at his core, and the tension had been eating at him.
He reached out and laced his fingers with hers, squeezing a little bit. He turned and headed to the room they'd shared, gently tugging her with him.
"I gotta grab clothes,.then I can go shower." he said quietly, as they passed several folks asleep inside.

"Read it, correct it. Comment, whatever, just write on it if you want to." He told her and tossed a purple felt tip pen on top of the journal. "Just like the first time."

Ronni felt bad. She hadn't meant to correct him last time, just help fill in some of the gaps.
"You don't have to let me, I don't have any right to your thoughts or your journal…" she said softly.
He was being very kind, even in his sickness, and the idea that he might-… not get better planted a weight on her chest and a lump in her throat.

Ariella happily let him tug her inside. She kept a good grip on his hand, squeezing it for reassurance. She looked at the sleeping bodies as the passed. She smiled at Devon before focusing in front of them.
"Okay. Wh-where do u want me to wait?" She asked, glancing at him. She blushed and turned her gaze forward.
