“Yeah,” Hannah said, sitting down. “Inconvenient, but, uh… what can you do?”

"Yeah," she pauses for a second, "I'm Iris."

"Ooh, gimme gimme!" Irvana came over snatching the book away. "No Home for Us," She read the title opening the pages. "Hey! Give it back!" She stole the book back tucking it under her leg.

Cole walked through the rain, not particularly in a hurry. The streets were quiet and abandoned, but little shops and cafes had a quiet bustle to them from those who had ducked inside to avoid the downpour. Cole, however, did not mind the weather.

After a session on writing, Ivory stared out the window. The never-ending rain of today.

"Yeah," she pauses for a second, "I'm Iris."

“Hannah,” Hannah nods. “Good to meet you.”

"You too," Iris looks out the window and sees that the rain won't let up for a while so decides to continue talking, hoping to not make it too awkward, "What do you do? You know, for a job or in your spare time."

“Oh! I, uh… I had a job for a bit as a bookeeper for some rich old lady. The lady died, I was out of a job. I’ve been looking, but that was a few moths ago, and I haven’t found much,” Hannah said, not meeting Iris’s eyes. “I understand if you want to leave in a tornado of disgust now.”

Iris laughs a little, "A tornado of disgust? I find that way too funny. Why would I be disgusted?"

“A lot of people are,” Hannah said, relieved. “Dunno. The idea of being jobless scares them, I guess. It’s not an infection, but all of my friends apparently thought so.”

"People are strange," Iris nods in understanding, "It only means that you don't have a steady income, and we've all been there before."

Basic Info: Allows the user to bend man made light into anything. While the user is manipulating light, it can take on a temporary solid form if the user decides to. Light can be exploded as well

Drawbacks: Can only use man made light.

Strengths: Proficient in close and long range combat. If the user has a sword, they can phase through the enemy's weapon. Handy diversion and stronger in places with lots of man made light.

Weaknesses: The user will not have any light to bend if they are in an environment with no sources of man made light. The user will need to ensure any allies in the vicinity will not be harmed before using the flash-grenade like move. May damage eyesight of anyone who isn’t the user. Not good at stealthiness when using their power

Other Notes: The user has an immunity to the manipulated light, meaning that the user’s vision/eye degree will not be affected when using their power. Light made from other powers can be used as well
