Lori sighed happily as she looked at the love of her life and held her close. It was wonderful to be so close to each other again after so long. Far too long… “I should have come back for you sooner.” she whispered.
Aliana had let herself become so relaxed that she had ended up falling alseep. And as such she never heard the last few words Lori said.
Lori smiled softly and continued to gently stroke Aliana’s hair, being careful not to wake her. Of course, between the soothing motion of the ship and the perfect moment of having Ali in her arms, it didn't take too long for Lorelei to start dozing off as well.

Aliana blearily blinked her eyes open and found herself that she was curled up against something warm. As the sleep slowly left her eyes she realized that the warm thing was in fact her lover Lorelei. So it wasn't a dream. She decided to not move wrapped in her dear's arms and simply admire Lori.

Lori’s fingers twitched slightly, accidentally causing pins and needles to spread down her arm until she started to wake up. She was surprised at how comfortable she felt. Humming sleepily, she brought her free, nontingly, arm up to rub at her eyes.
Aliana saw Lori wake up. She waited until Lorelei was a bit more awake until she shifted slightly to kiss Lorelei's cheek, "Good morning my love."
Lori froze for a moment before smiling softly. “Good morning.” she said, kissing Ali’s forehead in reply. “I almost forgot how good it feels to wake up with you in my arms, my dear.”
"I had forgotten how wonderful it felt to fall asleep in your arms," Aliana replied with a soft smile. She nuzzled up against Lori as her eyes shut again, "Must we get up today?"
Lorelei gave a soft chuckle and held Aliana close. “I’m afraid so.” she hummed. “As the Captain, I do have chores of my own to do. Plus, the crew has been looking forward to meeting you. If you want I can give you a tour of our ship.” she offered, reluctant to let go of Ali just yet.
"I would love that," Aliana smiled up at Lori before giving her a quick kiss on the lips. She had no intention of going any further than that but made no move to pull away from Lori.
Lorelei happily returned the kiss before slowly sitting up and stretching, already missing holding the other woman. “Would you like to see if any of my clothes will fit you for now? Charlie can help adjust any you want to keep until we get to a safe port.” she suggested since the robe she was currently wearing only came down to just below her knees.
"That would be wonderful darling," Aliana responded letting out a long sigh and sitting up next to Lori. She made sure her robe covered everything know that it was a little short. She made a move to stand up and walk over to the closet.
Lori held her arm out for Aliana, in case she needed help balancing, and walked with her towards the closet. “Oh, fair warning, my dear. I don't have many dresses and absolutely no corsets.” she admitted with a small smirk.
"If you had corsets, and then made me wear one, I think I would jump ship," Aliana grabbed onto Lori when she began to wobble from the waves. She managed to reach the closet and open up the wardrobe with a bit of help. She let out a sad sigh, "Though I will have to get a few dresses for myself on shore."
Lorelei laughed at the quick reply, though kept her balance steady for Aliana. “Don't worry. Even if I had one, I wouldn't make you wear it. They’re far too restrictive and with how much we have to move and run… It's better that we don't wear one.” she explained, smiling back. “Getting you dresses won't be a problem. I just prefer pants more often these days. Though I do have a couple of skirts as well.”
"You do?" Aliana replied as she began to look through Lori's wardrobe to find clothes she liked or she thought would fit. She pulled out a blouse here, a skirt there, and then all of Lorelei's dresses, "I think I want to try these on first."
Lorelei watched Aliana pillage her closet with an amused smirk. It very much reminded her of how a couple crewmembers raided when they got one treasure or another. “Shall I look away?” she asked, raising a brow in a teasing manner.
Aliana woke up on the confident side of the bed that morning. That and after falling asleep and waking up in Lorelei's arms was giving Aliana a high of being free. She matched Lorelei's smirk with an even bigger one as she began to remove the robe, "Only if you want to."
Lorelei laughed with her, though she did feel her face warm. “Don't tease a pirate, my love.” she warned playfully. “If you want, I can either look away or you can change behind that screen.” she offered.
"Who said I was teasing?" Aliana replied as she made no movement to go behind the screen or ask Lorelei to turn away. However, she did stop unrobing, "We are both females here are we not? And it is not as if you are the first female to see me without clothes."
“You make a good point.” Lori nodded. “I guess I don't think of that much. Do you need any help? I mean, keeping your balance while you change.” she said, catching herself from implying that Aliana needed help to get dressed.
"I know what you meant Lorelei. And I might," Aliana laughed before she continued to remove the robe. It dropped to the floor leaving Aliana standing in her undergarments before picking a blouse and skirt pair to try on. She put the blouse on first finding it fit closer to a dress than a blouse. When Aliana realized this she glanced at Lori with a coy smile, "How do I look love?"
Lorelei smiled softly at the assurance and kept her arms out for Ali to grab if she needed to. When the robe fell away, she kept her focus on her lover's face as she put on the shirt. “I think you look beautiful in anything.” she said sincerely before glancing at how large the shirt was on her. “Though I don't think you want to go out on deck like that.” she chuckled.
"No, I think I will keep this look for your eyes only," Aliana replied as she turned back to the clothes and took off the blouse. She began to shuffle through the blouses removing any that were the same size or bigger than the blouse she had just taken off. Aliana purposefully took her time to look through the remaining items. She eventually grabbed a nice blue colored dress and put it on. The dress was still big on Aliana the neckline ending up falling around her shoulders, but it fit much better than the blouse did, "How about this?"
Lori smiled at the suggestion and quickly kissed Aliana’s cheek. She didn't mind how long she took to find some clothes that fit well enough. It was nice to still have some time alone together. “That one suits you very nicely. It almost matches your eyes.” she complimented with an approving nod, her eyes lighting up a moment later. “And I think I have something that goes with it.” she said as she turned towards the closet and opened one of the drawers at the bottom. “I hope they fit.”
Aliana's eyes lit up as she saw the boots in the bottom drawer. She took out a pair that looked to be her size and slipped them on with a soft grin getting used to the feeling. Aliana gave Lorelei a huge hug and then a kiss, "They fit perfectly love. Are you ready to introduce me to your crew?"
Lori smiled as she watched Ali’s reaction to the boots and stood up while she tried them on. “I’m glad they do, my darling.” she said as she returned the hug and kiss. “Aye. I'm ready if you are.” she nodded.
"Then I am ready," Aliana beamed at Lorelei. She honestly felt like a young teenager again, free to do as she pleased with no one to stop her. Though she was nervous to meet the people Lori now called family.
